In my view there's bids come in for certain players and Eddies thought there's more money in it for him, so he's increased the asking price, if they won't pay it he will sell and trouser some more money. That's my theory and of course could be wrong but it would not suprise me.

If Sports Shield haven't provided any evidence that they have cash why would he gave the club away for free and then watch them do just the same with our sellable assets for their own quick profit?

 

Haven't the goalposts changed as no bidders came forward to buy the club with the money behind them? If someone is going to take over and asset strip anyway why would Davies not do it? I actually believe that if another "mug" came in with the true interests of BWFC at the heart of the bid he would walk away with the assets in tact

We've been trying to sell anything and everything for the past few months

 

Perhaps it's come to light that the assets outweigh the debts more than they thought a month or so a go and that's been reflected in the price of the deal

 

If holdsworths mob don't like it then it's their fault for not putting their money down back then

 

On that note why did they not just put the money up then? Has it taken birch selling bits of to balance the books to get them to put their money where their mouth is?

 

If I had to pick either ED of Holdsworth to sell all our assets off in a fire sale I'd lean towards ED, better the devil you know and all that

I think we're under a different kind of embargo to say Forest. They're under an embargo which means they can only spend within a certain means (free agents on under 10k a week). However because we didn't submit anything at all, we're under a complete embargo. No one in until we submit our FFP.
