Because they speak differently?

Albania is 1000 miles from Turkey. You can tell the difference between a Turk and an Albanian like you can tell the difference between a Romanian and a fucking Greek.

They speak English in a different accent ffs. They have generally differing complexions.

You can just tell.

Luke you can tell a Chinese man from someone Japanese.

Feel like Im taking to a 6 year old.

Calm down. I'm just asking why you're so invested in Nationality spotting. No need to get upset.

Simple. I got my hair cut in one, and said which part of Turkey are you from, and he said he was from Pakistan, as are the others in the shop. He told me the one down the road, which never has anybody in it is owned by Albanians (he might have been telling fibs if course)

Do you want me to ask them, next time I'm in, for a copy of their passports, in case they are lyng?

Of course that all really happened. Have you thought about using you local British barber, instead of supporting these money-laundering foreigners of suspicious origin?

So you think you can tell a persons Nationality by their "accent, looks, and general feel"? That's an incredible talent.

How does an Albanian look different to a Turkish person? What is the "general feel" you get that enables you to discern which is which?

What if a Spanish person speaks fluent Italian? This is fascinating.

I had 3 Koreans in my car a few weeks back, I’d picked them up from the airport for a factory tour.

they spoke decent English but at no point did I think any of them were native brummies.

Similarly, Chinese John , who is from China, was saying “ching chong ching chong has so ching chong” to me the other day and I thought “I wonder where Chinese John is from? So hard to tell just by looking at his Chinese face and listening him saying ching chong and what not”

So maybe you’re not just being an argumentative bumhair after all.

I have, and sometimes do.

And why is their origin suspicious, I know where they're from.

I don't care if they are laundering money or not,why would I?

Love how he starts it all.

"Not saying you're wrong"....

He knows someone would say they can tell the difference then he's all over it.

Like arguing with the wife.

He loves an argument, just for the sake of it. I think it probably stops him self harming.

Strange how English men get upset when you ask them simple questions about their prejudices.

Do you seriously think hordes upon hordes of men from Istanbul and Ankara are making it their lives to work to head to Great Britain to open up barbershops?

Lets look at this from a different angle, say large towns and urban areas like Bolton for example has over 100 "Turkish" barbers and each shop has on average 5-6 lads cutting barnets and beards.

Thats 5-600 lads in 1 town that know how to do a half decent professional job.

Now how many British lads in the whole of the UK would know how to do that kind of work to a decent standard???

I bet less than a thousand.

So are they blagging it or is in their tradition????

"Hordes upon hordes"? Have you been listening to Joe Rogan again?

I can count 9 in less than one square mile in Blackpool town centre.

On Victoria Road in Cleveleys which is probably a mile long there 5 off the top of my head. (Pardon the pun)

That's 14 shops and I've not even scratched the surface of the fylde coast.

It's the same in every town across the country.

So yes I'd say that would be hordes. It would be if they were all Turkish obviously :)

Which ones?

I don’t know of any.

You must be able to provide examples. It’s kinda Number One in the Cheese playbook

But they're all just fronts for money-launderers and drug dealers? Have you reported all this to the police?

Perhaps he's not bothered...

Perhaps not, but he seems pretty certain about it either way. If I knew there were "hordes" of criminals operating in my area pretending to be barbers, I'd feel compelled to carry out my civic duty and report it.

And people wonder how grooming gangs get away with it for so long... Perhaps the people who knew about it just weren't bothered.

Perhaps that's where he gets his drugs from, so why would you want to grass them up?

As for the second point, I don't think they were bothered, hence nothing was done for so long.
