Mounts Kipper Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Lennon sounds like he would like to get sacked, He's under no illusions that he could get fired if a new consortium come in. I don't rate Lennon's signings to be honest, Wilson, Pisano, Twardzick, Wellington, Madine, Dobbie, etc, I know Lennon has had fook all money to spend, but he should have done much better than this lot. Just a quick question, why should he have done better? Quote
plodwhite Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I am Bolton till i die have been since 1967 if we go down so be it i am a one club man, if u cant support our club right now then fook off watch city or utd leave our club to the real fans Quote

Blondi Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) Just a quick question, why should he have done better? Why sign Pisano and Wilson, 2 right backs that he never plays(both signed 2 year deals) and he has to bring in Vela that was well out of the picture and now he's suddenly our best right back? Heskey shouldn't have been given a 12 month deal and why did Lennon sign Twardzick on a 3 year deal? Edited November 21, 2015 by Blondi Quote
whiteboy Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 well today wasn't the one to get pissed off at at lennon, we played a proper formation, started well and should have been in front. Prince fucked up and heads went down decent effort second half. terrific support and i don't normally care that much about that but was expecting more than 4-5 players to come over at the end. think we should have had another pen at the end...but ultimately an opportunity wasted today. on it's own today was ok but we have to win somewhere... Zico Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Just a quick question, why should he have done better? Am thinking just 12 months ago the only difference was CYL and C Davies Maybe it was new manager syndrome but he got us playing once Quote

That's the budget he's working with, nothing. wrong with having 2 back up full backs who won't be on big money, Vela was earmarked as centre mid, but he's now proven not good enough there, Heskey on buttons, as will Madine and Shola, have to agree on Twardick (think he was a gamble that's not worked) but you don't get much for the wages he's probably on. Oh and a striker /threat up top would help. Edited November 21, 2015 by Mounts Kipper Quote

CumbrianWhite Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 It's the managers job to get the best from his players and situation, he's currently not doing so however difficult the circumstances. There's a reason why the likes of big Sam and pulls have never taken teams down yet, they utilise the players they have and organise them properly. Lennons just not doing that. Quote
This is it... Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 There is so much wrong with the way we play and I think that's down to coaching. Up till when mjallby left we where actually playing some decent stuff, just lacking a finisher. Since he has gone we have been playing shite. Mjallby is a coach that played at the top level and I think that makes a difference. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I think Mjallby departure has a big baring on our present position in the league. These players should be doing much better than they are. Quote

whiteboy Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 How did Pratley play ? I think he's been pisspoor since coming back....was he any better yesterday ? yeah not bad, bit of a struggle for him playing down the left sometimes though Quote
snowball Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 yeah not bad, bit of a struggle for him playing down the left sometimes though Sounds like another square peg scenario. Like Lennon but agree he is not getting best out of what he's got but some of these players are letting us down. Seen highlights and although Ameobi isn't up to much he was unlucky with that header, typical of our luck at moment. Quote
SoberDan Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 We really looked like a team relegation bound yesterday. Played well first 20, didn't take our chances, made a mistake, conceded a goal, let in another before the break, game over at HT really. Quote

IF we had taken one of those early chances, IF Prince hadn't handed them the first goal we would have the won. Not massive IFs in the scheme of things. Quote
