Lt. Aldo Raine Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I think it's more likely he tries to argue there's a constitutional loophole rather than trying to win a vote of the house and senate Quote
kent_white Posted April 25 Posted April 25 This all looks to be heading in the right direction! Quote

That would be interesting. Because it is against their constitutional rules? Maybe Obama doesn't want a 3rd term? Seems an about face way of seeing things imo. Quote

If things did change and Obama ran again, that’s also fine with me. If Obama ran against Trump and won, that’s even better. It’s called democracy. Much better than the assassination nonsense that some clowns call for. Quote

Lt. Aldo Raine Posted April 25 Posted April 25 For what it's worth, the two-term limit was only codified into law after few years after Roosevelt's fourth term Before that, it was just convention Quote

Which he'd never get as you need 2/3 of both houses and 3/4 of the states. Never happening. He's just being an obnoxious bellend as usual Correct, it's not ever going to happen. Despite what all the fanclub want. Quote

With KS - I'm scratching my head a little to really understand what he's done that's switched people off to the extent that he seems to have. He's about as competent of a prime minister as we've had for a long, long time. And he's not even done anything that controversial - at least not much controversial in the eyes of the kind of people that might be quick to flip from liking him to disliking him anyway. I'm starting to think that British people might just be daft. Quote
