In one.  The exchange at Trumpys press conference yesterday summed it up as to how much pressure he’s (not) put on those nasty Russians to make concessions:

Trump was asked by a reporter what concessions Russian had offered up so far. “Stopping the war,” said Trump.

“Stopping taking the whole country, pretty big concession,” he added.

Wow.  Just wow.  Bit like asking a mass rapist not to rape anyone else, or a serial killer to stop murdering folk in exchange for ignoring what they’ve already done.  The art of the deal.  Whattaguy.

In other news I see Klitschko is talking about having to temporarily at least give up some land for peace - sadly does makes sense.

Any of his fans care to explain his Trump for 2028 merchandise on sale on his website?

For balance here, does anyone else find the whole 8 years thing a bit undemocratic ?

If the elections are carried out fairly, then a nation should be able to vote someone on for more than two terms (imo).

i just hope the moron doesn’t change it before. Not that it will stop him.

Kind of but he knew the rules before he went for his first term. The undemocratic bit is when once in power you decide you you no longer like those rules. It is exactly what Putin did so no surprise really.

If it’s a democratic election, why not?

If he changes the rules then maybe Obama can then stand. That would be interesting.

Can you imagine if Obama had proposed ripping up the constitution and standing for a 3rd term? Fuck me, you bootlickers will condone anything as long as it's "your side" doing it.

It's very odd.

He can be president again. The constitution says elected twice, so he stand as VP to anyone then they stand down after election.

Like it or not (I do not) if he does a full term and then gets reelected says he has either done ok or his opponents are shit.

Nope.

Nobody who is ineligible to stand for president can stand for VP.

That is how they explained it on Newsnight.

12th Amendment,  “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of president shall be eligible to that of vice-president of the United States.”

That's as it stands, but he doesn't give a fuck about the constitution, and nor do the sychophants he surrounds himself with. He's a fascist. He doesn't operate under normal rules.

If he could run and they were daft enough to vote him in again, America would deserve everything it'd get.

I think he brings it up a lot as mischief making when things are going to shit.

Quick, look at this, not that shitshow over there.

Be amazed if Democrats don't win next time around the way he's started.

Not sure what they'd be walking into like 🤔.

He'd have to get an amendment to the constitution. Which he'd never get as you need 2/3 of both houses and 3/4 of the states.

Never happening.

He's just being an obnoxious bellend as usual

I agree.

By the same token, I also think it is undemocratic to change voting age whilst in office.

Lots of rumours, but nothing concrete yet, so hope it will stay that way here.

The sort of decision for a referendum.
