Might mean we start playing on international weekends now.

Hopefully there's a clause that he can't play against us. Bound to fucking score past us. Wouldn't surprise me if he had a niggly injury that keeps him out.

Can't include such clauses.

That's why there is often an unfortunate injury.

I've always thought Charles was this generations David Reeves, and their records are pretty similar for us remarkably.

Personally I think he is part of the reason we are still in this division. His all round play is awful, his finishing is so/so at best, and has no brain either. Yet because he runs about people fawn over him??

So he scored 20 goals, a better striker may have got 30 it's all relative.

So if we replace him with this generations Andy Walker who is going to complain?. Charles will be remembered as much for his misses as goals.

I will concede the timing give the pressure Evatt is under and buying team dont do us many favours, but is what it is. Until we know the replacement it's all guesswork really.

I was thinking along those lines, especially if Toal is discounted with always being injured.  Could do with Jones sacking off Australia, and surely Sheehan's Welsh gig won't last forever with the competition for places.  Same with Schon for Poland.  Randall probably plays for Gibraltar or someone.

Why dc hasn't had more game time, when Victor starts ahead of him is mindnumbing. Big Vic couldn't lace Charles boots.

The timing is bizarre, and I really hope we have coordinated proceedings so as to get a replacement before weekend, otherwise yet another shambolic turn of events.

I've said for a few weeks now, that I'm more annoyed with the owners  than evatt. What's going on??

DC is going to have to step up his training if he's going to be playing 90+minute games or he'll be fucked.

Im sure vic has started ahead if him

Im also sure its very, very rare

Ive been a Charles fan from the off, loved how he roughed up defenders but theres not been much of that recently

Theres been plenty falling over and misses Id expect him to score

He might score 30 in a new environment, but he wasnt going to get 30 for us

I agree, I think we have some really good players, the way they're being asked to play isn't for them, but what can they do ?

No brain ? He played both other strikers in for there last two goals when he came off the bench at Mansfield and Rotherham

And Josh Koroma, scored with a header from open play against us.  I honestly can't remember the last time one of our players did that. Presume someone will be leaving (if any come here, anyone but Ladapo!)

May be but he as spent around a million on a player being accused of doing the exact same thing at Peterborough how long before he falls out with him as well ?

You're not the first person to say that about the Mansfield goal - not sure where the confusion came from, it was Johnstone to Tomo, crossed to Collins to score.  Charles nowhere near the play.

Sorry it was Exeter Charles put  Collins through but same argument he layed a couple of goals on recently coming off the bench

Sorry to see Charles go . I am sure he’ll do well & bag goals in a team that should play to his strengths . Evatt as if things weren’t tricky enough for him is now sat on a grenade with the pin hanging out. He needs to coax the pin back in with at least one replacement signing , before Saturday actually . I’m sure at least one board member is aware that when home crowd turns , as it has done before , things get very ugly & there is only one outcome.

Cambridge at home is just the sort of game were underachievement will be fatal.

Gonna get absolutely smashed on Friday night, get friendly with a Vanarama National League North striker, pick up some pills and go back to his house. Order us some bing at 5 in the morning, forget his name, and get back to the pub Saturday afternoon still wearing the same clothes. Do it all again. Wake up at 9pm on Sunday, phone in sick Monday morning. Job done. Over it.

I'd like to see Baxter & Jones leave this transfers window ... Cash in and save some money on wages. Out of contact in the summer and I think Southwood is just as good and Jones hasn't played much anyway.

I'd listen to offers for Johnston. Thought he'd be like a new signing coming back from injury ... unfortunately he's been anything but. Replace with a loan

We've 4 wingbacks ... No way Schon, tutu and JDC are going anywhere so maybe sell Williams or get him out on loan.

Same with Thomason ... don't see what he offers. He's liability.

Offload Arfield ... cancel his contract or pay him up ... absolute pointless to the club.

If we're not going to play more then two in central midfield Sheehan isn't the answer.

Shame about Dempsey ... Is he another one that we can't afford to keep because of his Injury record?

CMG & Vic need more game time. I'd like to see both start in a settled 11 alongside Collins. 

Fuck knows what Randall is going to bring .. I just hope he has more of a impact then McAtee.

I know its been said before but if we had two playsers like Brannagan & Connel as the 2 mids ... it'd be a massive improvement.
