I'd like to see Baxter & Jones leave this transfers window ... Cash in and save some money on wages. Out of contact in the summer and I think Southwood is just as good and Jones hasn't played much anyway.

I'd listen to offers for Johnston. Thought he'd be like a new signing coming back from injury ... unfortunately he's been anything but. Replace with a loan

We've 4 wingbacks ... No way Schon, tutu and JDC are going anywhere so maybe sell Williams or get him out on loan.

Same with Thomason ... don't see what he offers. He's liability.

Offload Arfield ... cancel his contract or pay him up ... absolute pointless to the club.

If we're not going to play more then two in central midfield Sheehan isn't the answer.

Shame about Dempsey ... Is he another one that we can't afford to keep because of his Injury record?

CMG & Vic need more game time. I'd like to see both start in a settled 11 alongside Collins. 

Fuck knows what Randall is going to bring .. I just hope he has more of a impact then McAtee.

I know its been said before but if we had two playsers like Brannagan & Connel as the 2 mids ... it'd be a massive improvement.

We need a striker, clearly (two if we can offload Vic somehow). That has to be the priority. Potentially a defensive midfielder that offers more protection to the back 5 than Matete and Thomason and who can stop the counter attacks.

I’d like to see a better right-sided wingback than Dacres-Cogley/Williams, ideally on loan (so we don’t spend another £1m). I’d have brought in a Maghoma type player, but Evatt’s gone for Randall so let’s see how that pans out.

But honestly, unless we change our system, I don’t see the value in shelling out more money. Once Toal and Sheehan are fit, we have 4 CBs (plus Jones for cover), 4 wing backs (plus Jones for cover), 3 centre mids (for 2 spots) and more attacking midfielders than you can shake a stick at.

You suggested selling our number 1 keeper, who is very good for this league and who you want to replace with a youth player. If southwood gets injured we’d be up shit creek.

Jones - whilst he’s not a starter, he offers emergency back-up for the back 3 and right side of a back 5. Do you want to see Dacres-Cogley return to the back 3 if we get injuries? I don’t.

You suggested selling Thomason and Johnston. They are more than good enough for this league - they are just having a bad run. Getting rid of Sheehan and maybe Dempsey? Why sell perhaps our best performer this season? We can’t sell a player who’s injured for the season.

Why would we buy an actual LB if we don’t play with left backs?

I liked this at first based on the first bit about selling Baxter and Jones (cash in on the former, free up a space on the latter) and the last bit about needing better midfielders (connell and brannigan are exactly the type with a bit more nouse and physicality than we have).

Then I re-read the bits in-between and saw the suggestion Vic needs to start and had to remove that like. 😄 

In seriousness there's some other common sense suggestions in there: signing a LB and removing Arfield, but I'm not sure Evatt follows common sense.

We we have Collins, CMG, Vic, Randall and McAtee that play in a Evatt front 3. Bringing in another would do more harm then good in my opinion. We need consistency.

Both aren't great but doubt you get much better. If we did bring someone in who would you get rid? Pointless keeping both Williams and JDC if you're wanting a replacement for that position. I suggested Williams.

We're already up shit creek. If Baxter isn't going to sign a deal ... and we have a decent replacement ... which we do. This is the only time to get some cash for him.

We've got Williams, JDC & Tutu that can play right side and you want another. I suggested trying for a CB preferably with some championship experience.

They're not though are they. Johnston is far to weak.

Thomason ... apart picking up a customary yellow card. Making one worldy pass every 5 games and chipping in with a goal every 15 he offers very little.

Best performer? That questionable. They've all been shite. Dempsey has had way to many Injuries. We need consistency and players that can keep fit.

Because we don't have a left sided player. I wouldn't say Schon is a LB or a WB. We're  targeted down that side more then another place on the pitch.

I said this system wouldn't work back in August. Players we've got dont suit it. I agree but what do you do ... Keep players that don't fit it?

At the moment yes.

According to the above, none are really good enough, yet they largely got us to the final last year.

They're not that bad.

Simply need a new voice and tactics.
