There's lass in the hotel works like a bees wing after an injection of that.

Please remember if you are concerned about private lives of players and staff you are weird. Just concentrate on the football, which it has clearly impacted

Could be, to be fair, or even Jayden Danns. We'll find out later hopefully.

If it is him, let's hope he doesn't stay in the hotel with his Dad and Barry Bannan

I think we have the bodies we need in defence, a better idea might be to get them playing with confidence, being a bit more direct, and getting to midfield quicker, plus getting better protection from said midfield (which I think Matete offers but he doesn't always start)

we definitely lack presence up top, wouldn't like to think we go the rest of the season with just McAtee, Collins and Vic

I'm not talking about CB's (although I don't think we've got enough cover there either. If Santos or Johnston get injured we're fucked). We need someone sat in front of them who doesn't drift out of position or get blown over by a gust of wind.

mental for a player that goes missing in the big games

He'll fit right in here then!

Aye, we can improve all over

One thing definitely missing though is someone to hold it up top and bring others into the game, whilst having an eye for goal

We start off well in plenty games and if we could make the most of those spells that too relieves the pressure on the rest of the team

100%. The defence 'looks' poor this season, and has been at times. But with enough pressure, all teams concede. A large part of last seasons success was scoring first. Not only does that give us the initiative, it leaves space to kill the game off as the other team chase it. GJ has struggled, as has the other GJ since coming back, but I think our inability to get the first goal is the bigger issue. And for me, that comes from this crazy 'don't worry about the midfield' formation.

As I've mentioned before, it feels to me like almost every game is a 50/50 shootout now regardless of the quality of the opposition. If we concede first, the game is pretty much done.

Not expecting much different tomorrow to be honest.

I saw the goals this morning (and good to see even Wrexham get punished for fannying around at the back) but even though they lost, that goal Wrexham scored was one of those where its like we play a different game, we simply don't have the option to hang a cross upto the far post and convert with a towering header.  It takes me back to the Kev Davies era, but some teams still use it and that's what we're up against, while we are having to put 10+ accurate passes together just to get a weak shot away.

I agree, Parky hasn’t really changed it’s still long ball stuff but to be fair with the players he’s got he can play that way, he even threw Mo Faal on last night at the end to give him 4 big men up top. I’d be happy if we had one to do that as you say we can use our width to whack a ball in to somebody who can do something with it. Let’s see who Evatt brings in you never know?

The (over)reaction on social media is depressingly predictable

That B team has been a complete waste of time and money.

It's not, it's just that our youth set up was decimated and these things take years and years to rebuild and come to fruition

We weren't ever going to get to a stage where we're producing players good enough for our first team in the space of three or four years

Not saying I disagree, but in what way? We've just sold 2 of them.

When it started they went to dog and duck reserves

Now they get league football

I thought the b team was supposed to be a conduit to bringing players through into the first team but instead they seem to come in get sent on loan and then leave instead...i would have thought that in the 3 or 4 years it has been going a few would have made it by now ? From what i can find which isn't a lot the fees paid at that level are minimal.

No idea what the fees are. If selling a couple of youth players every year spins a profit, then it's a no-brainer. For all I know, it could be running at a loss though. Neither of us seem to have a clue.

Ah well, had hoped he would make it with us, but not to be.

Good luck to him.

Won't have made a fortune, but perhaps it shows we're starting to bring young uns through for a bit of dosh.

Onwards.

Im not naming names but we brought a league footballer in on 600 a week

We’re after a premier league striker probably evatt trying to calm things down for tomorrow after Charles leaving. It will be a load of bollocks we can’t afford wages or a loan fee for anyone decent . Wasn’t long ago evatt was saying we had moved on from loan signings
