We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Sheehan will play more than people think. 4 midfielders vying for 2 spots. Injury, suspension, and horses for courses will determine who plays.

Tutu I guess was being tried out as JDC cover. Barring a break / ligament type injury, JDC is as reliable as they come.

I expect either Schon or CMG will leave towards end of window. If Tutu can cover right back, I doubt he’ll go anywhere. Lad clearly has bundles of talent. Unfortunately, like some of the other latter day Evatt signings, he doesn’t work hard enough.

I was amazed when Baxter did an interview part way through last season admitting to being overweight. McAtee has now admitted he’s 7kg lighter (this season (no idea what that is in old money)

I don’t know if SS will be a success, but he won’t accept shirkers

That’s nothing. I’m 12kg down from the start of last season 😁

wages off the books, and a fee (no doubt will be small). Good deal, makes room for another signing too.

He wasn't registered in the squad so it doesn't really make any additional room.

Really frustrating end to Klaidi’s stint with us as he very occasionally showed bits of class but could never do it consistently.

Etete in at Rotherham on loan. You know what’s coming when they tip up at ours

was more thinking in terms of financials

Not as bad a player as some of our Twitterati would make out, just another of Evatt's list of lads he signed off a spreadsheet with no real idea what to do with him or how to get the best from him. No worldbeater but he might do alright for Posh. If, as is being chucked about, we got upwards of £200k for him it's a good do all round

An own goal, a penalty conceded and we score after robbing him on the half way line, just before he gets sent off

Take your point though, tbh, we don't.  We saw absolutely f'call from him. Could be tremendous ... we saw nothing good or bad.

Forino as 3 is all sorts of wrong.

As is Vic having number 9

Well that makes 27 altogether so excluding keepers and U21’s we’re actually not far off the limit so if we’ve still got a couple coming in you’d expect a few out either loan or permanent. I still think Sheehan could be away as he’s not going to be a guaranteed starter and that won’t help his Wales career. Sonny out on loan too perhaps but I hope we keep Warren and blood him here he looks a real winner. Will there be any surprises though?

These are only squad numbers for the coming season.......Doubt Vic will feature in the squad pre Christmas

Four or Five u21, see a few being moved out

Worst player I've ever seen in a Bolton shirt.

Still certain it's all one big Ali Dia type swizz.

He can't even run properly.

Reckon I'm managing fine chief. Just fine. (aside from Dempsey's medical intricacy's.

£1 million and Lolos in return for Randall is a better deal for us than £1 million in return for Randall

So about £1.3mil plus decent wages spent by IE on 2 players we didn't need, and only seemed to use occasionally to justify buying them rather than to actually improve the midfield.

Squad isn’t registered yet, though.

Numbers have been allocated within the club but I don’t think the official squad is registered until after the window closes.

That’s right and the more we can move out the more we can bring in.

Him coming on as sub at the same time as Big Dave and doing absolutely fuck all whilst Abimbola ran his nuts off summed up him and the season as a whole.

The only positive for Etete is Lolos was only fractionally better and he'd had a lot longer here.

That would be more than we paid so if true that is a good deal

When was that then? Certainly missed his bits of class, saw him bundle one in off his nob in injury time and that was about it.

Aye, one good game at Hudders, one bundled in rebound and that’s it.

Adios.

Goal v Barnsley to take the lead was one of our better goals this season.
