I hope so. Hate the way it’s dragging. Sign or get to fuck

It'll be a deadline day job if it happens

I don’t think so. Once Celtic are happy they’ve enough in their forward line a deal will be done and I think it’s more likely to be a transfer than a loan.

I’ve been really impressed by Warren so far but them who haven’t been to the games seem to think that he can operate as a central striker.

He’s been used as a wide player who can move across the line.

But he ain’t a CF.

The CF, in his own words, appears to be Burstow. He felt ill used out wider in the previous two seasons ... in the 2nd tier.

young Warren not far off being an option when he gets his cast off

He can play with the current light cast they said yesterday.

That said we can't expect miracles from the lad.

sounds harsh.Didn’t SS just put him out on loan so he could develop? I.e. kept him as a Stoke player?

That’s the official line but secretly he said he’s a b tech Burstow I remember this because he played a tune on his beat box when discussing Lowe, that I liked.

Joking aside he either thinks he’s guff or he hates Walter’s that much as we’ve not been remotely interested in a guy that he’s worked with.

He'd left by that point

Watch him on Sunday, you will see it for your own eyes, honestly.  Maybe your last paragraph could be correct, who knows? Not just against his own players, also the ref, but hes not on his own there, and most of the refs in this league deserve a bit of shit sometimes.

What do you mean pal, he never points, gets angry or throws his arms out in frustration 😂

On a serious note, I like him. I’m more inclined to agree with @thebells, his pointing and arm throwing (which he does do, you’re right!) is just a go-to gesture when he’s making a point. I don’t think it’s overly negative or something that negates his game.

I do think he has high expectations. And I think his positives (Speed, commitment, willingness to attack/support/defend) far outweigh his negatives.

Will he be considered captain? Probably not, I’m going for Toal. But it’s not that crazy an idea, especially as he’s (quite rightly IMO) one of the few players that (fitness depending) will play most games.

If it isn't obvious who the captain is - and it might be, I don't know any of these lads - then we don't have one. It's not going to make any difference who wears an extra bit of cloth on their arm.

He definitely does point and look annoyed when we make a mistake at the back as Woolli says. But similarly I'm not seeing that as a negative as he is fast and generally in position and is pointing out others mistakes. I'd rather he demands improvement from team mates rather than shrugging his shoulders.

However, his 2 main negatives for me are:

-very weak and can be bullied. This is where we need a big right back option to replace him when he's up against someone physical

-cutting back when the opportunity to go forward is on. The number of attacking opportunities that slowed down last season because his instinct always seems to be to cut back and play it to one of the defenders. I'm hoping the change in formation will help here because he'll have a winger option in front of him to play the ball to.

All in all though, for league 1 he's an asset and would start most weeks for me, but with that different full back option if we need a more robust back line.

Maybe the second part will automatically reduce as he will not be playing as a wingback, his job this season will be mainly to defend and when on the ball get it to players further up the field.....Yes we still want to see him overlap and get forward and link up with our wingers

His main weakness for me is his final ball in. He gets into some great positions but then lets it down with a poor cross. He just needs that bit more composure when in those positions for me.

why's everyone getting their kecks in a twist with this kenny fella?

some clown on uncle craigs facebook group said he was already better than arron collins

he's been applying his trade in the irish version of the north west counties ffs

people just need to relax

Is a captain in football rhat important these days?

If players aren't doing their job properly then any other player can have a word, then theres also the manager on the sideline

It's not like in cricket where they make on field decisions

Back in our recentish hey-day we had Davies as captain (which alwayscsurprised me as an outsider) but also Nolan, Speed, Okocha, N'Gotty & Hierro in the team. All captains & 3 at international level. No wonder they knew what they were doing.

(I've not counted Diouf despite him being an Advisor on Sports to the Senegal President. Nor Bergsson who was a touch earlier).

yep, first class bell

I think if you sat and watched one particular player for 90 mins every single one would gesticulate or throw their arms about.

Cogley is hardly Diouf or Robbie Savage is he?

If he did it as much as suggested he'd get stick off other fans and get booked every week.

I've never noticed it once.

So, all in all, he has quite a few weaknesses! Hes akin to Kyle Walker if you ask conjo queso! Such a moron!😜
