I'd argue Larrazabal was brought in specifically to be able to play as a wing back.

I think the reason we've limited going to it is because we haven't got the forwards he wants to get the balance right in the attacking areas of the system.

If we'd have attempted it last week against QPR we'd have had Gale and McAtee trying to play roles off a striker that neither will have ever played before.

Larazzabel certainly was as was Stephenson.

Injuries and not getting the forward who can work the channels is all that is holding these changes away

When we go away i think we will have raw pace to hit teams on the break but still keep our shape at the back

A little how Lincoln played last season

FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

well he has already said, twice, he wants to stay and fight for his place

but not been given a chance yet this the round

be interesting to know just how many options Celtic have ahead of him

I think folk are reading far too much into Kenny’s desire to nail down a starting spot at his club.

Is there a player anywhere who wouldn’t say that they wanted to start regularly and they they felt they were now good enough if pressed by a journo?

What he actually said was “I believe I can put myself in a great position to be available at Celtic come the summer”

…and he felt he had “probably proved myself that I’m good enough to play for the club on a week-in, week-out basis.”

So what he was actually talking about was his own progress as a player - it’s others jumping on those quotes who have implied it’s anything other than the standard media comments of any player anywhere saying they think they are good enough to start regularly.

wasnt it the celtic assistant manager in an interview that said Kenny had told him he wanted to stay and fight for a place in the celtic team???

Nelson's done now, one less to worry about.

It was. The ex Wigan manager.

For the kind of figures quoted, I can't see Celtic dragging things out over three consecutive transfer windows

Needs to get his hair cut.

That aged well 😱🤭

Thats our wingers sorted

Presumably lots of add-ons given the fee they are quoting.

Gale, Nelson, Iling-Junior, Dong and Larrazabal? Yeah, I'd say so

Most of that will be contingency fees, including survival and possibly even promotion.

That’s roughly £1.75 million, suggesting up to £1 million in add-ons. If we achieve the goals that trigger those add-ons - either a big sell-on or team achievements - I’ll be happy.

Bit of background to the lad in this. Interesting story. Seems level headed.

Liking how he is already saying 'we'. Good lad

Is he Fossie's brother

WOW, that's some story. But surely a big risk for Wanderers.

early in the day for an announcement, another at 5pm??

Put the ACD signing to bed now looks like we have moved on .

Yeah it's a good signing but it's not like the owners are giving jobs to cancer survivors is it?

Well in Nelson's case, yes it is.

This is an exciting unknown signing for me, I like that we he's no a loan like ACD was, I like that he looks unique with his hair, I like that he's an International, I like that's he's an overseas player, I like the thought of his pace vs a tired defence.

Summat about buying forgeign players with a bit of flair that make you look forward to seeing them vs say a British player from a Scottish league for example.

No idea if he'll be good, but a mystery player with attributes that scare defenders.
