Kachunga had a slow start with us but improved with games & looked a decent player when he got injured. Trouble was, by the time he recovered, he'd slipped down the pecking order & never made enough of an impression as a sub to challenge for a starting place.

He seems to be a good character, IE likes him & i'd be happy to keep him as a squad player, but when everyone's fit, I can't see him as a first choice in any position.

Stoke in that scenario. Highest champ debt level and 3rd highest wages propped up by one old fella.

they could quite easily fall in to the relegation scrap next season. All the big earners getting fired off and made some bang mediocre signings

Fortunately for them, should Peter Coates keel over (he's82), the Bet 365 business is mightily profitable and John & Denise Coates are already humungously rich. The club seems not to be quite as interesting to them & it looks like the tap is closed off somewhat but they should be able to keep the wolf from the door.

Key difference for them compared to others is the loans PC gives them are interest free then he inevitably writes them off. Feeling down there is the inheritors won’t be as accommodating.

they’ll become a far more self sufficient club which means huge cost cutting and downturn in the quality of signings. They already hate O’Neill as it is as he’s struggling to get a tune out of the “talent” they have. Give him worse players and the league will become tough to stay in

It's so heart warming reading tales of woe from clubs smirking at us while we were on the way down. Oh how the wheels of fortune have been turning.

Can't wait for them to keep on turning, good times ahead

Apart from a season at Huddersfield his goal return is pretty shite (he may of assisted loads I don’t know)

not like message boards are to be taken as gospel but Huddersfield fans say he was a flash in the pan for one season and Sheffield had nothing good to mention

nail on head

Watch not only the goal at 1.20

BUT ALSO the dribble and pass at 1.36

Definitely not shit but needs more performances like this to win over his doubters. Agree with everything va va said, slow start. Did better when he got a run of games. Got injured, struggled to displace the January signings.

To be getting anywhere in this league our frontmen need to be 1 in 3 men (as we have a few) not a 1 in 9 or 10 man which Kacha is. He’ll probably create 3 or 4 goals too but we’ve also others who’ll create 8-10+

just because he was seen as the answer 12 months ago doesn’t mean he still is. Things move on, and we’ve improved. He will have to too to make any significant contribution

I like Kachunga. I don't like the painfully long song we've chosen for him though.

I’m oblivious to all these songs we’ve got?

Surely you've heard it? It's fucking painful. It loses momentum after the first 10 seconds of "Da da dada da da" and very few folk can be arsed joining in after that, so it's just a dozen people slogging on with it. Piss poor.

I think we might see a different Kachunga this season after a full pre-season. Seems the type who knuckles down and listens to the manager and tries to play the role he is asked. When he came in we were still changing and developing as a team,  hopefully with more stability we will see his better attributes shine through.

Aye.  Was funny that night at Lincoln when it took off but been pretty annoying since.

What's wrong with "Eli Kachunga, he is a Wanderer, ole ole"?

To be fair Yorkshiremen being positive would be a hard read.

Arthur Gnahoua gone from Morecambe to Motherwell.

Morecambe are getting towards bare-boned squad levels.

Stockton will be next then it's adios Santa's boys. Really hope we pulverise this lot this season. Long walk home for Arthur now but good luck up there

Final piece in our jigsaw and would virtually guarantee promotion, get him signed.

See, I don’t rate him from the games I’ve seen. If you want a striker who can hold the ball, bring others in and score a dozen + league goals, there’s none better the Bod in this league.

He’d be a good sub - but an expensive one

Aye, I'm more than happy with our strike force, couldn't see how Stockton fits in and don't see anyone leaving

A front 4 option of Bod, Charles, Baka and Stockton would give us 4 players who are all different types, wouldn’t be the end of the world going with the 3 we already have in place, however at the right money Stockton would be a great addition.
