Mounts Kipper
Bullshit Every Twitter post from the usual suspects is either explicitly critical of Anderson or laced with sly little digs I'm hoping when he has the time to deal with the worms, that he drags one or two through the courts Interested that Anderson had some barbed comments in the statement announcing his takeover but didn't name names. Kane57
Interested that Anderson had some barbed comments in the statement announcing his takeover but didn't name names. Noticed that too. I expect he'll have more important things on his plate
Moderators Carlos Posted August 30, 2017 Moderators Share Posted August 30, 2017 I know this site is ridiculously pro Kenny Imagine that, a site that represents BWFC's hardcore support being pro-the bloke who has saved us from oblivion. Just fucking imagine that.

passmosster
Where's the alternative to Anderson? If there was one why didn't they buy the shares off the liquidator of SSBWFC?

bwfcfan5
Who are these theorists? I know this site is ridiculously pro Kenny but in my experience these 'enemies' of the club just don't exist in the way they're portrayed. All the ones that Casino has mentioned. Obviously. Plus whoever the prick is who wrote this. https://lionofviennasuite.sbnation.com/2017/7/6/15930560/roll-up-roll-up My favourite excerpt... "Until the tide of public opinion turns, we'll happily receive your criticism. But when we're proven right (not if, when), I can't promise we won't say "I told you so"." Kane57
Same guy who had a piece printed in the last game of the last season's programme because it was so well received at the insistence of Ken and Parky.
bwfcfan5
Same guy who had a piece printed in the last game of the last season's programme because it was so well received at the insistence of Ken and Parky. What difference does that make? Some know nowt, knows everything and will be proven right, not if but when and will then come and rub everyone's noses in it. That's ok is it? Proven right over some unspoken, between the lines conspiracy. But when it isn't proven right, will no doubt never apologise. Bunch of kids pretending they know how the world works. Pretending they are students of football. Embarrassing. The fact Ken gave them exposure, makes it even worse. They are a fan blog. Act like they are undercover reporters. Hope Ken goes after every single one of them.
Ani
Christ I didn't say it was a bad thing! It's just the perception that he can do no wrong which comes across. The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc. Go back to when KA was first linked he was pretty much disliked by everyone on here, bet it was six months before people dropped the sweaty from his name. He is clearly a hard nosed business man and has had to make some tough decisions along the way and I daresay behind the scenes things have happened which are at the best dodgy. At times when you have no or little money and owe to more than one person you have to choose who gets paid. The fact we have got this far without going into admin implies he has got that balance right. But we needed either a billionaire or a hard nosed business man to keep the club afloat KA has done that job. Personally I find the posts of his son childish but a small price to pay if the overall Anderson package keeps the bailiffs away. KA ain't some messiah who is sacrificing his personal future for the love of the club but unless someone has a real alternative sniping articles and comments from so called supporters are pathetic. This whole situation could still go bang, but based on what has happened so far the one person not to blame is KA. You see from some of his occasional responses to DH that there is side to KA which I guess is pretty nasty but that is what we needed. He is our only option, choices are to back (even with reservations) or not. If you do not back him though you need to suggest alternative viable options. Moderators Carlos Posted August 31, 2017 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2017 Also, if you are blogging about the club, in an I know better than you kind of way, unless you are an actual insider/whistleblower then hiding behind an anonymous username is frankly ridiculous. Eavesy
An excellent summary. Agreed. It's a shame a post like that can't be pinned up somewhere as it's an accurate and logical description of the current situation. With no hidden agenda, no bias and no resorting to childish mud slinging. It's the kind of thing our local newspaper chief football correspondent should be 'liking' and sharing around the world. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 31, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted August 31, 2017 Seems great news. Just a pity the window is closing. A couple more weeks and who knows, ka may have been able to sort out the embargo and if extra money waiting behind the scenes, maybe buy a player or two. Boothy
Are we realistically that close to the embargo being lifted? I know it's a big step that Kenneth has consolidated his ownership but surely there are questions thrown up regarding what just transpired and also the ongoing accounts and financial health of the Club... No no no the embargo should be lifted NOW and signings should be made like CYL and Origi. And Taylor and Pratley should be gone NOW. Or something like that. jturner
The problem with Ken though is that he'll only pay for a 3rd tier standard midfield and a 3rd tier standard strike force. People who want more for Bolton than a 3rd tier standard football team are going to have a problem with Ken.
