Or offer them a deal for giving up and giving names for others in the cell, and then track their every move,

Prisons are breeding grounds for hate.. and they want to die for their course..

End of the day, these people have been groomed,

A sound plan . . . after they've been waterboarded with pig piss though ;)

Lifelong solitary confinement might......

Bloody costly though.

Would some kind of low key UK based 'Guantanamo' not be an option; perhaps militarily controlled?

Isle of Manamo

Personally I think all long term inmates should be in solitary.

Trouble is they all end up radicalising others whilst in there. And it costs us a fortune.

Not sure what the answer is really, do folk think potential lifelong incarceration would deter any would be terrorists?

As I said R, put the backward scum in SOLITARY.

Once segregated, they won't be radicalising anybody. Let them rot whilst they bang their heads against the confinements of a cell.

It may well be costly, but surely the cost is outweighed by the lives of innocent folk, our children and national safety.

Why would it be costly. Just put them in a cell and let them rot.

No problem with the principle, but its not practical. There are insufficient cells as it is. The construction costs etc alone would be prohibitive.

Think I suggested once before, a converted tanker/cargo ship anchored in the middle of the north sea might be useful. Chuck them on there and leave em to it. Never come off, just lob a few loaves at them occasionally. They can pray as much as they want then, or preach shite to each other or bum each other to death. Don't give a fuck. But once on, there's no press coverage or human rights lawyers crawling all over it.

Life means life, but with no quality of life.

Isn't one argument that we are more civilized than them when it comes to torturing and what not?

Isn't this stooping to levels defeating the argument?

thats a great plan

and OVS some Bacon

It shows how 'different' we are in this country, a bloke in Belgium attacks some soldiers with a knife and causes a minor injury, he gets shot dead, a bloke attacks and injures 2 policemen outside Buckingham Palace is arrested for questioning, he'll probably get bail and fuck off in hiding, the question is - do we arm all of our police?

I'll bet you my house he won't get bail

We could take boat trips and throw sandals at them.

Having been to Myanmar (Burma) I take an interest in the place and saw that ethnic violence has flared up again in the north of the country. The Muslim minority there has been attacked and many of those fleeing to safety in neighbouring Bangladesh have been refused entry. You hear a lot about "Ummah" and how Muslims look after each other but not in this instance.

Umm, ah, no.

London Euston evacuated

Extremely emotional and although we know how many were killed and injured its the story behind them that is most moving.

The bloke who was paralysed and has to learn a wholes set of new skills to carry on with life mentioned at the end that his daughter is still in hospital with severe injury and will be for several months.

There was a few bits of grit in the air in our house last night.

That's Martin Hibbert who the cricket match at Edgworth is for on Sunday

Made me realise it's all still quite raw for me all that went on, brushed it under a bit. Very difficult to watch, it's brought home even more seeing those parents who look and sound like your own, in houses that look like your own, going through tragedies like this. Some extremely brave people there.

I'd personally set fire to it.

I wouldn't - I'd leave them to suffer slowly
