The former darling of left wing think tank Amnesty International, Aung San Suu Kyi, is now in their cross hairs because of the Rohinga problem. What a turnaround. They used to champion her.

 

Myanmar has taken action to prevent a militant Moslem stronghold forming within its borders and she won't condemn what is happening.

 

Sad and unfortunate when hundreds of thousands are displaced and condemned to months if not years of deprivation and misery but, and it's a big but, is Myanmar one of the few countries with the backbone to take appropriate action?

 

Amnesty International is already asking Australia to go beyond the 50 million dollars it has already sent to Bangla Desh to assist with the hordes flowing across their borders and take some refugees in.
