birch-chorley Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 More likely a convenient excuse for northern rail as they don't have enough trains or staff Quote
mickbrown Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Fair point - I have to admit I thought Britain came after the states but you are correct Not by much though really. And no they aren't squeaky clean, as are no race or nation but it seems to be whitey that cops all the blame. I've as much to do with slavery as Amir Khan has to do with ISIS . . . well If not by much you mean 30 odd years then aye, ok. Mind you, you said one of the first things they did took them a 100 years, so maybe you have a more fluid definition of time than me. Quote
bolty58 Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 The former darling of left wing think tank Amnesty International, Aung San Suu Kyi, is now in their cross hairs because of the Rohinga problem. What a turnaround. They used to champion her. Myanmar has taken action to prevent a militant Moslem stronghold forming within its borders and she won't condemn what is happening. Sad and unfortunate when hundreds of thousands are displaced and condemned to months if not years of deprivation and misery but, and it's a big but, is Myanmar one of the few countries with the backbone to take appropriate action? Amnesty International is already asking Australia to go beyond the 50 million dollars it has already sent to Bangla Desh to assist with the hordes flowing across their borders and take some refugees in. After what just happened at Parsons Green, they must be off their fucking heads. Quote
Good Knee Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Woman on the radio yesterday said that if you see a white middle aged woman leave a parcel of some description in a public place or a young man of asian descent do the same ,then she would and you should treat them with equal suspicion.Thankfully I know which one would get me on my toes first . kent_white Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 I'd still tell them both that they'd accidentally left a parcel behind - and then report it if they refused to pick it back up - so in that sense I would treat them the same I suppose? Quote

bolty58 Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 That's the problem with the world today political correctness gone mad. Gone mad to a point where no common sense whatsoever is to be applied. I am currently unaware of any terrorist atrocity carried out by a white, middle aged woman but I am sure the appeasers on here will exhaustively search to try and find one. Quote

Not sure I'd approach the Asian chap, maybe speak in loud voice from a distance. Remember coming back from Germany in 1991. Shit wasn't as bad then, but was still about. There was an Asian chap, big beard the works, looking extremely shifty and nervous sitting nearby. I got up and moved as far away as possible. Felt a bit of a cunt, but that's human nature I suppose. Youri McAnespie Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 You're (Enzo) probably being an English nazi, but there is a line in the sand. There's folk who are free to spout their codswallop on here, but when others point out their opinion of said codswallop as codswallop appeasers it does not maketh. Do I not like that. Mister linesman tell your pal he's just got me the sack. Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Nah, people who talk codswallop talk codswallop. If you're not talking shite then get in touch with government, the security services etc. I'm sure they'd welccome these solutions and other insights they've obviously missed. Quote
