I paid £250 to a Sri Lankan disaster fund and you question me? 259 people lost their lives that day, thousands of people lost loved ones and millions more around the world expressed sympathy with Sri Lanka. So because there was a Sri Lankan community grieving for their own in my parish who were raising funds to help those left behind to rebuild their lives I wanted my £250 to add to their funds. I said to you what I was doing and you accepted it as our bet could have taken 10 years or more to settle and I felt that cause was far more worthy. You are such a low life to try and question my integrity and those that know me off here know how I would help anyone if I could. Spot on. I totally disagree with much of what Thatcher did but she was a public servant. This lot are not. And look at the people being driven out of the party and/or out of politics. Lidington. Morgan. Hammond. Clarke.

These are superb politicians, centre right types being forced out by the extremes. 

Boris just goes with whatever he thinks will keep him in power. But his front bench is awful.

Unadulterated shite. Johnson's commitments include ploughing billions in to the NHS, transport infrastructure, social care and the police. Socially he's unquestionably a liberal not a small c conservative. He is a long way from extreme, he just happens to believe Britain should not be in the EU. As per usual with people like you, anybody who doesn't fall within your narrow world view is "extreme". Pathetic.

I don’t have a clue who he is. When you have a online bet with someone you don’t expect them to say I’ve paid it to a charity of their choice before it’s even come in. If he has then fair enough, like I said at the time, I’m just pointing out that I’ve seen no proof. If JC came out with some of the spending commitments Boris is pledging then people would be up in arms on here laughing and asking where the money is coming from. 

Heard someone on LBC the other day saying that BJ's election pitch is to basically undo everything the conservatives have been attempting for the past 10 years.

Add to that a Brexit deal that is pretty much roundly viewed as slightly shitter than the last one that everyone said was slightly shit and it's hardly the offer of the century.

The Labour Party should have potted JC a year ago. People vote for personalities nowadays and rightly or wrongly so much mud has been flung at JC that the kind of voters they need to attract won't touch him with a bargepole.
