a perfect opportunity for those sacked to get apprenticeships and retrain in green/renewable technologies

I’m surprised P&O haven’t planned for this and stockpiled deck shoes and bingo cards.

Just poor planning.

Does this go in the plus or minus column , just for those that are keeping score

Plus.

Any business that fails post-Brexit just didn’t prepare.

Fuck em. And the 800 scroungers. Cheap foreign labour will save the day.

in confused is that not the same cheap foreign labour that they voted to keep out, asking for a friend

Can’t be.

We voted (myself included) to keep grubby foreigners away from beautiful British jobs.

Ill be fair though and let a Brexit supporter put the bonus forward before committing to a judgement.

Just heard on the radio P&O generally lose about £40M per year. If so, they do all need sacking, and it needs shutting down as a business anyway

Loses £40million but paid £250million to shareholders.

Just a quick note to remind everyone that we definitely don't need unions and they just hold us back!

And that is what the Tories want, easier inexpensive ways to get rid of people. UK Employees will have far less rights now we are outside the EU. That is what we voted for 🥴

Something I will NEVER get my head around is ordinary working people being against Unions. It's fucking bonkers. It can only be some variation of Stockholm Syndrome.
