Also on the radio, a woman who says pension/insurance companies have 200 billion over the next few years to invest in projects

If only the govt will start building stuff

This supermajority looks like just what the country needs if we dont need to pander to the blue rinse brigade holding MPs to ransom

It's starting to look like Reform stood candidates who don't even exist... Surely not?

Helen Burns was one. Never had any meetings, never went to the count. No social media. No one knows her. Very strange but there have been others

We had an 'All Staff call' from our new minister today, she spoke well (and looked well) and she sounded enthusiastic taking us forward, that will do for me

I know lots of people do not agree with things the new Govt will do but their approach is already seeming to be light years ahead of what we have had.

An 'All Staff call' , visiting the devolved assemblies, sitting down with junior doctors, immediate action on wind farms, appointing experts to roles.

So far they are very much Football Ventures, the old lot were more Ken Anderson.

It can't be true, surely. What if she'd won?

Relaxing the rules on Pension Funds investing money into projects is fine unless a few of the projects go tits up and people's pensions start reducing.

Not sure if the rumours Farage has not turned up for his first day, but if it is it has shown he really does have social media dancing to his tune.

A 'planning consultant' just been on the radio

Amongst other hurdles, he has to get 2 years of bird surveys done for a new wind farm

Its 12 months even for a replacement unit

And dont mention bats!

At least they’ve made a start.

Promising whispers about the heat pump upgrade push 🥰🌹

I wouldn't at all put it past them

In the majority of seats, the only aim was to split the Tory vote

Create an AI-generared candidate, pursue an aggressive social media strategy targeting the voters in that constituency, job done

I wonder if Julie Pattison was one? 👀

Helen Burns feels like a name you’d use for a made up person😂

The mantra from Starmer is also excellent, he said Labour are here to serve.

It’s refreshing to feel the wind of change, they’ll be stuff i don’t agree with but at least it feels like a grown up government.

it’s where I’m at

Didn’t vote Labour due to the boundary change meaning I had no idea about the candidate so reverted to my norm of Lib Dem

They are in for the term so let’s see what they achieve. Hopefully mainly good. They will fuck up along the way for sure. But we need to give them a chance and rightly criticise when they get it wrong

Feeling a wind of change early on sums it up well for me

Voters need id and candidates dont even need to exist

Sort it out, Starmer

Surely this would be election fraud and if linked to the owners of the company, theyd be in hot water

If it is true then yes, surely it's not though

It can't be true. Even for that mob, this is way too batshit.

It won't be, but even if it was, their thicko racist supporters would find a way of spinning it so that it's acceptable

Well, tice is on with peston later

The question will get asked, surely

I predict it will be the usual "Look, we're a new party (even though we're not, we've just re-branded), and we don't know every single one of our candidates" line that Farage wheels out whenever one of them is outed as a racist.

If it was true, and Reform get money based on the number of votes surely that would criminal fraud ?

It is like in the Untouchables when Capone gets done for wire fraud.
