To be fair, it's not difficult to see why people think it probably does shut down any possibility of a debate with you in particular

I'm not confused at all. If they decide not to post any more because somebody says something that offends them, that's not them being "shut down", that's them shutting themselves down. 🤷‍♂️

Not sure what you’re basing the last statement on? The Muslim vote has often been a low turnout. Whilst some extremists might vote for a pro Gaza MP, I’d still imagine many wouldn’t bother going near these elections.

The values & ambitions of an Islamic extremist are massively different to those of an independent candidate.

Had a great little debate with @London Wandererabout it over the weekend. Take on fully what he said and from my initial slightly lambastic approach it's gave me food for thought.

That's how debate works, we don't all have to agree but I respect other people's opinion.
