mickbrown Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I say it every year but it never ceases to amaze me how people can't simply pour a jug of luke warm water on their windscreens to defrost it. You don't need de-icer, you don't need boiling water, you don't need to scrape ice with a cd case. One bastard jug of Luke warm water is all it takes. It really isn't hard. It just freezes again. Or am I doing it wrong? Quote

Whites man Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Causing death by careless driving has a maximum 3 year sentence whilst death by dangerous driving is 10 years. Quote
Zico Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Causing death by careless driving has a maximum 3 year sentence whilst death by dangerous driving is 10 years. which will be why he pleaded guilty to careless but as Casino points out (as the article is over a week old), he's been found guilty of dangerous (presumably by a jury) was always going to be a tough argument, I'd say evidence goes out the window and it depends if you've got a Deane Koontz or a Captain Med deciding though letter of the law is it is dangerous driving, but then again technically so is talking to a passenger, lighting a cig or changing the radio Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I'm driving now whilst writi Very good. Quote

However the CPS must have thought that they had a strong enough case to proceed with dangerous and both charges were presented to the jury. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Just had a brief look at the mpemba effect. Quite interesting. I wonder if the amount of dissolved gas therein has an effect. Does a warm hand produce a better wank a the wheel than a cold one? Quote

Ghana White Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Saw that. You can't argue with it. Should probably give him more as a deterrent to others. Always seemed nice enough lad to me when I knew him years back and he's made a stupid mistake not intentionally set out to kill anyone. Doesn't make him a bad person but it was bloody reckless. Quote
Casino Posted January 19, 2018 Author Posted January 19, 2018 Years back we had a discussion on this Should you be tried for the offence Ie driving like a cnut Or driving like a cnut and killing someone If I do it tomorrow and don't kill anyone, more by luck than judgement, why should I get a lesser penalty than the fella who kills somebody Quote
