Anyone got one or had one?

We're just about to order either one of these or a Citreon C4 Picasso.

I see it as a no brainer, Our Peg wants the C4 though I think.

I've got one, provided it's the PHEV that you're on about. I like it, it's tax efficient for me, which is the main thing (although not sure that'll affect you in this instance). If Mrs Baz isn't doing many miles each day, then it should be a winner for you

Used to have a c4 grand Picasso.

Great ride, and comfy seats. Was very underpowered with a 1.6 engine. Would imagine they've improved that since.

Worse thing was parking it on the steep section of Breightmet drive in the snow, whilst picking up a mate to go to the macron.

It electronic parking brake was on, but it slid away and careered into someone's garden wall.

Now it may be that any other car may have slid away from that exact spot at that time; but I never really trusted it afterwards and wouldn't touch on again.

My lad was in the back in his child seat at the time, and to see him sliding away whilst I was running alongside trying to get in was not something any one would want to experience.

I would say the Picasso. I assume you are going diesel? The Mitzu PHEV is great for company car owners and those doing short trips though.

The newest Picasso is a good car from all reviews and does what it is meant to do rather well. Fairly sure you could pick up a year old one with a good chunk off new price if that is an option.

Fair enough that. Just don't get one from bcc Citroen. Since they took over lythgoe the customer service is shite.

My van was bought from them, one of numerous Citroens I've had. Never again.

It's the Outlander Di-D 3.

They are going to cost me the same amount but the Picasso Touch is a bit cheaper on insurance.

Might be tempted by the Outlander then. The Picasso is arguably the better car but at the end of the day it is a Citroën.

Have you taken either for a spin yet?

had a c4 picasso, loved it, until it met it's demise at the hands of a a suzuki swift..

Their car was repairable and he drive home, rachaels c4 was a write off. But Rach was fine.

Safety in the citroens is top notch,

Had numerous citroens over the years. Good value for money and good engines (diesels).

Get what you pay for.

Going looking at a citroen C4 grand picasso on sat. Second hand 4k.

Had picassos for ten years - I really like them as a family car and good for when we go camping. Always go for a 1.8 as thw 1.6 is a bit sluggish...

and thus ends my car knowledge....

Our 1.6 blew three out of four injectors whilst on the edenfield bypass. Definitely underpowered for its size.

Nice car otherwise.

Caravan that a 1.8 citroen can tow

Are you sure Its not a can of beans?

My 1.4l astra could move the parents caravan, wouldn't fancy any long journeys in it.

The 1996 1.8l volvo I used to have could tow vans forever (well until I drove it into the back of a Kangoo Van). I'd imagine modern 1.8s have no issues.

Aye. Its more the percentage guide that can catch people out.

My parents had a early 90s Volvo that pulled their Abby caravan all over.

We’re all about the tents so hopefully tomorrow we’ll get this new car for the summer hols - the new tent I’m looking at getting is rather large though so might need a trailer as well. Where I’ll put it though, fuck knows (yes I know on the back of the car) I mean storing it without a garage.

Top of the line in utility sports, unexplained fires are a matter for the courts
