Announced his retirement from football this evening.  Been at Grimsby but was released from his contract last week.

Liked him and was decent for us for a season and a half.

Spot on.  Really difficult to think of a player that had such an impact in a short time, and the fact that his career seemed to hit a peak here just adds to his status as a genuine BWFC mini-legend.  So much respect for him as a player and character, and made crossing look so easy when so many players make it look so hard.
