So do I. I'm not arguing that he'll be successful, I'm just arguing that if he intended to pursue a legal claim yesterday, that statement won't make one jot of difference as to whether he can or will continue to pursue it. That's all.

Wouldn’t worry about it, the administrators will have undoubtedly played this game before. As long as they have facts on their side - as seems to be the case - then the sideshow is irrelevant.

Still think he's pals with KA, it's the only logical explanation

That’s my thoughts, he’s a moonman of the highest order because his antics in front of Jim White were pathetic and immature, he was lacking any kind of decorum and more interested in making himself look a complete and utter bell.  What a big zoom he is

Aye. I'm not worried, just bemused as to why that statement's been taken as being a big deal.

It’s sent a missile towards Bassini’s spud gun so it’s a big enough deal for me.

Which is fair enough. It's more the people (mostly on twitter to be fair) who've taken it to assume Bassini's finally been fucked off I'm confused by.

Its 1 year from today, yesterday, tomorrow a week on wednesday

Whatever the date, he always has a year

1 of the all time worst contracts we've given out in our illustrious recent history of stupid contracts. Up there with Amos and Pratley never ending deals. Whoever the next manager is, it has to be a 2 year deal, no more and no less.

Isn’t that the required minimum contract?

And if you want to get rid after 6 months it’s costs you more than it would on a rolling 12 month deal...

Football Ventures (Whites) says on SSN. So this is 'new' name?

That’s the old name I believe. Think they were just named as such by the administrators either because the new company name isn’t set in stone yet or because if they named them by their new company name, no one would have a clue who they were and probably would cause a meltdown.

Surely they could have said ‘’new name, previously known as Football Ventures’’ to avoid such meltdown.

if he were pals with  the fat fuck , then why didnt he buy it for a pound coin ?

Anderson played him for a chump to buy time to get the admin on before it all started costing anderson money.

or he paid him to , but didnt pay up.

big baz suing folk is ken's bonus dogshit through the letterbox.

the only thing i can guess is that bassini has less money than ken , so now we're probably better off now with this michael james / sharon britain / indian guy who name i forget Consortium.

before admin bassini wouldve been good as he were talking up things and not going "with adminstration i can buy it" . But now knobhead won by getting the admin , its probably best this happens.

at least theyll put the games on.

Promotion or bust !!

If the stated amount of 25million to run the club for two seasons is correct I can't see how any of the director s have that money available, so where is it coming from?

If this has been discussed before I apologise but this is a long thread and I skipped lots

I think we would all have preferred our new owners to be Far/Middle Eastern billionaires prepared to jizz  vast amounts of money to turn us into the next Premier League super force, but most of us knew that this was highly unlikely to happen. FV’s bid was said to be “substantially higher” than the other bids they were also the most determined to own us, so i’m happy to see where this takes us, because at one point we looked perilously close to extinction. I’m also pleased that Michael James is part of the FV consortium, because although he’s a businessman first and foremost,he’s a Bolton fan through and through.
