Horrible. Just horrible. We took my father in law to hospital on Saturday as he was struggling to breathe and he’s been in since. Been a very nervous few days but looking like it isn’t covid. Leaving relatives on their own at hospital is heart wrenching. Quote

Leaving relatives on their own at hospital is heart wrenching. from her nan's point of view, she's been itching to slide off the plate for years anyway but from the mrs and her aunt's point of view, they didn't know what to do for the best and whilst they didn't want to send her to hospital in the first place they couldn't keep her at home when she needed treatment, but then once the infection was sorted, they felt she'd be far less vunerable at home - they wanted to shield her, but the choice was taken out of their hands, and it all just feels so inevitable that she'd get it in hospital Quote
Guest Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I’ll ask yesterday’s question again; Are the local restrictions working? Quote

Trouble is, its not reducing the numbers and every other region has growth, butvits a hope for me that it means restrictions in the NW have started to kick in, and if they have they should work elsewhere. Fingers crossed. Quote
Spider Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I'm still up for a 3 week hibernation Everything down, like apocalypse movie. A beautiful hibernation, probably the best hibernation that anyone's ever seen. If I sell it like the Don, I reckon I'll get cross-forum support on this. Quote
radcliffe white Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Sure I’ve just read hospitality accounts for 4% of infections behind schools/universities, work places & care homes Quote
birch-chorley Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Just think, if everyone on the planet self isolated for 3 weeks, complete isolation with no interaction with another human then the Virus would be extinct by November 1st and we could all move on Quote

Cant see risk being much different in any indoor setting, with out a mask on for a few hours, you're going to be breathing in aerosol Quote

dave2980 Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I can confirm that Sweden are just cracking on. Not a mask in sight, a bit more hand sanitiser knocking about and the odd sign here and there but that's about it Quote
