burnden Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Just watched Boris in press conference saying that if Burnham/Manchester doesn't comply with tier 3 he will intervene. Quote
Spider Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 We're going into Tier 3, just a question of when. Was a free hit for Burnham in truth, Quote

Take too long and cases and hospital admissions will rocket. He's put that scenario firmly at the feet of the mayor there. Quote

Burndens Bogs Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Funny how the govt seems keen to do regionalised lockdowns in the UK, yet when Spain had a spike mainly confined to a certain area a month or two back - the whole of Spain including The Balearics & The Canary islands got lumped in together in the “must quarantine” on return list. Rudy Posted October 16, 2020 Author Posted October 16, 2020 Why don’t we just have a national vote Lockdown In or out? What could go wrong Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Just now, Mr Grey said: I don't mind Burnham, consider him a centrist, hence why he fucked off sheepish as soon as Steptoe, sorry Corbyn became Labour leader. He's done good arguing the GM case, hats off to him, although that's his job. How so? He's not managed to get an agreement, whereas other places have, with extra money too. More businesses saying they may well be better off in 3, as income is well down whilst in 2. Quote

radcliffe white Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 How can you get better deals/agreements? Liverpool’s gyms close but not lancs how does that work only problem with burnham digging in boris might go fuck you Mancs and impose the highest Quote

Whilst he flaps his paper and gets nowhere, they keep going up. Not once have I heard him have a go folk for not following rules. (He might have in fairness). The bald one in Liverpool has, as did driver today (albeit gently). Driver spotted the inevitability, admitted it had to happen and cracked on making the best he could. This mon just putting himself on his political pedestal, "I did my bit folks", but just causing delay. Fucking miles apart in terms of leadership. Quote
