I vary where I go, have no particular loyalty to any supermarket, I reckon Morrison's and their clientele are already by far the most compliant regarding masks and hand/trolley/basket sanitising.

They also do 10% NHS discount.

Don't go at 8pm on a Saturday though or you'll emerge with about half a bakery's worth of shite like white cheese bread, jam donuts and sausage rolls etc. for about 26p for the lot...

Morrison’s are saying they won’t allow folk in “unless they are medically exempt” according to bbc news. So it’s no change to what should be happening now.

good free publicity though I guess

Medically exempt the same as self-exempt?

Sorry, but to me that isn’t a medical exemption.

I think it was done to take pressure off the GPs. As has been said on many occasions though, if you feel you shouldn’t wear a mask, why do you also feel the need to shop in a supermarket when click & collect is available or online delivery?

This cunt, and he was, followed me in to Aldi carpark in his car last week. Shit loads of parking spaces (was 8:30 in the evening) but parked in a Parent & Child spot. Then he gets out with his mobile pressed against his ear and walks in and proceeds to do his shop without a mask on. A cunt on multiple levels.

Maybe his kid was in the boot, that's what i do if I'm nipping in for booze

Is available.

@ZicoKelly ‘s bike ride all good, Boris confirms:

Park was full of families yesterday mixing with other families, unless Algernon and Tamara and Co were living in a commune.

Get your toddlers home, I do not care for them. Im home schooling with three, full time job, trying to do a start up and seen no one else for months and months.

These fuckers are the same self-centred tits to tut in disapproval at Sharon and Trevor going into Lidl with their joggers on, or yoofs sharing a can of rockstar in the town centre.

I'm in a right grumpy mood today at fuckers breaking rules.

I’m sure you aren’t trying to come across as a condescending cunt but try going in to a local supermarket and call the staff minimum wage shelf stackers. You’ll probably end up with a tin of beans minimum wage stacked one up each nostril.

Christ, that was a strange nerve to have touched.

The point was that unless Morrisons are going to stick bouncers on the doors... all this is doing is pushing the job of enforcement to people who shouldn't have to deal with it. And likely won't (enforce it).

Ventured out in the car today for the first time in a week to pick up a few bits and pieces for tea. Roadworks and the traffic meant I spun the car round and fucked off back home. Utter gridlock on Oldham Road. Baffles me. Where is everyone going?

On a brighter note mother has her jab booked for Friday at Waters Meeting

Don't all supermarkets have security? Just stick them on the door.

Well go to Harwood Morrison’s tomorrow. The big security guy will be at the front of the queue to avoid the minimum wage shelf stackers having to police the new mask policy. While you’re there, say high to my minimum wage wife.

Yep. I’m also on the verge of losing it with someone. I think we may have a few parents briefing their kids better before our zoom calls next Monday. What did everyone do yesterday...? “We went to see our friends in London” 🤫 I live in Hertfordshire. Also found out that someone who lives in our town took their son to Brighton beach over the weekend because they wanted a change of scenery. It’s lucky they told my wife and not me.

Morrisons in town has been the best all through, checking masks going in, Aldi & Lidl A/B  have been alright but Asda A/B has been a disgrace......went in for the 1st time in weeks yesterday & there were stilll  lots of cocky twats not wearing masks. (& quite a few big family groups ). Avoid.

Our local Morrison’s has I would estimate 95% plus mask wearers. We just found out this week they do a click and collect service to save walking round. We will use this for now. No delivery slots.

Been using click and collect for around 10 months now.

Some cock ups and a few items with short shelf lives, but far better than going in with the covidians.

Few in our place went on the south downs for a walk, one lives in North London.

I was desperate for a proper walk this weekend, but couldn't justify the drive. Kids fancied going to Whitstable, thought well its just us, whats the harm. But say I was asymptomatic and gave it to some.shop keeper. Also, what happens if we all did that? Went to the local woods, couldn't even get in the car park, it was like being in a shopping centre. Went home after 15 mins.

I think he didn't mean any malice, just didn't engage brain before tapping 'submit reply'.

Whatever supermarket staff earn it's not enough to police this policy - as it's a given those who won't wear a mask are, 90% of the time, likely to be gobby, sweary argumentative m0ngs...

The security staff are subcontracted usually and also aren't on enough.

Some of whom are clueless also, unused to Bolton 'culture' - trailing blokes in Belstaffs with an Omega on their wrist around the store lest they slip a tin of beans in their pocket.

Meanwhile some Lonsdale clad bagheads carry out half the electrical section unmolested.

Morrison’s will be increasing number of slots available gradually in coming weeks as are Sainsburys.

Sainsburys will reach 1m deliveries a week by end of Jan. They were doing less than 400k in Jan last year. Tesco reached 1m in sept (I think).

consumer demand is changing and it will for a lot of folk be permanent.

We’ve knocked going into the supermarkets on the head, use click and collect as much as possible when deliveries are hard to come by. Use a local butcher and a local fruit and veg supplier who deliver and usually have good availability, any other bits will pop to a local shop away from peak times to avoid any crowds. seems to work ok Upto now takes the stress out for a bit.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock was asked at Monday's Downing Street press conference whether travelling seven miles for a cycle ride was within the rules.

Mr Hancock said: "It is OK, if you went for a long walk and ended up seven miles from home, that is OK, but you should stay local.

"It is OK to go for a long walk or a cycle ride or to exercise, but stay local."

Thats a hub for 6 practices

And i checked, you get 6 doses from each pfizer, one more than was thought

I heard him agreeing with the police over those girls getting fined in Derbyshire the other day, but their fines have been rescinded since. Quite rightly if true.

I don't like the idea of it being subjective to police officers, this just can't happen, shouldn't be on the cabinet this guy, Boris's fall guy.
