Crime is probably non existent so what are they actually doing each day? Unfortunately, the government made it pretty clear at the time of lockdown that the police were to adopt a light touch approach. Undermined them straight away for me. If you have rules, make sure they are enforced- particularly early on, folk might get the message. Mr Grey summer it up in his response to the rule list that zico showed. I've now decided, similar to what peelyfeet said, that I'm going to restrict myself more, for a while at least, as things are released. Not going to keep queueing up for ages to get into a garden centre for x, y, or z. Fewer trips unfortunately, and those wanting stuff will have to wait a while. Quote

Would have thought the obvious thing would be to get a test. Possibly that’s the case in England but up here if you are contacted by a contact tracer you will be offered a test as standard. To me that seems sensible and we can then get those who don’t have it back to work otherwise we just end up in a constant circle. sturgeon et al I think have this bit spot on bearing in mind the technological restrictions we all have Quote

I've not been in since Friday though and things can change quite quickly. Be surprised if this is the case though. I'll let you know tomorrow! 👍 Quote

Compared to how many who’ve asked to be tested or should’ve been that is the key here though? I would guess we are testing everyone that wants/requires one certainly the case up here and we are at about 2k a day Quote
Blondi Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 My old man spent 6 days in Warrington hospital last week, he's not got Covid 19, but he needs to have his gallbladder out sharpish, he was pissing blood and had white stools at one point. He wanted to pay privately to have his operation but was told by the hospital, he doesn't have to bother paying for the operation himself as the NHS are using the Spire hospital for his operation, so that's saved him a few grand I'd imagine.
