No matter which way you cut it, our death numbers show that we've fucked up somewhere along the line, in reality probably locking down too late, and also not actually having a proper lockdown. It'll all come out eventually, but it's nuts that the UK has more deaths than any other country in the world, with the exception of the US (and it's clear why their number is so high, because they're fucking idiots)

I note that Sweden are now having a massive problem, which sadly serves them right for thinking they could get away without enforcing any sort of meaningful lockdown when the rest of the world was telling them they needed to

I will save my final verdict until I see how our economy fares compared to others and then look at the overall picture. Was never going to be as simple as counting the deaths. Well for some it was but in reality much more to it than just that.
