Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 1, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted February 1, 2020 From BWFC Lottery Office It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the Bolton Wanderers Development Assoc.(Chorley)Ltd committee, Lifeline and Goldline Agent and former Travel Club Steward no 1 Derek Cooper. Derek has been a part of the history of Bolton Wanderers Football Club for many years as both a fan and a staunch supporter since the age of 6 when he accompanied his dad to his first game. Derek was also a keen gardener and spent many hours tending to and relaxing in his garden. Derek died on Saturday the 11th January 2020. We would like to pass on our sincere sympathies to his wife Joyce, daughter Gillian, Son in Law Andrew and his two grandchildren Tiffani and Liam. He will also be a great loss to Bolton Wanderers and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him at the Club. RIP Derek

Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 1, 2020 Author Site Supporter Share Posted February 1, 2020 Says he was involved with the Developement Assoc. (Chorley) but unless he had relatives in Harwood I always thought he lived off Tottington Road on Hulme Road or Seaford Road.

I knew him very loosely through a previous job of mine.
