Yeah, the thing is they thought they were playing, but this is the consequence of not understanding the consequences.

The thing to also remember is that Trump won an election and included in that was a promise to stop ‘wasting’ US dollars abroad and instead us that money to MAGA , so justifying his actions to his core support is pretty easy. It is a bigger leap over here for the protect our borders crowd agreeing to the Ukrainians being screwed over their borders. 
 

If there is going to be a realignment with a New World Order maybe it is time not only cut our reliance on Russia for power but also our love of the ‘special relationship’ ? Maybe a bit like Mr Evatt the time has come to move on.

From where I'm looking Russian army is on its arse, and these peace talks will mean Russia get what they want and Ukraine will stop fighting back because Trump will essentially own them

He's only got enough to hold them at bay, not get them off his land, not any time soon

And he cares about his people unlike Putin who will send them all to their deaths to get what he wants

He's done the most important thing witch was to stop them taking Kiev and killing him and pushed them right back to the east with all the help he was given

He never wanted this war, he gets nothing out of it and wants it over 

Just not on the terms Trump is offering which will fuck Ukraine from all angles

So we just keep paying (A lot more if America pull out) to keep them at bay. Basically keeping them in parts of Ukraine that they don’t want to give up in a peace deal but happy for them to have in war?
