She just told Victoria Derbyshire that the UK has more political prisoners than all of Russia. Blimey, these people are off their tiny heads. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal,” he said. You’re both defending this… Alongside a vice President who thinks said Europe poses more of a threat than Russia. Yeah right 🙄. I don’t think Dumb Donnie could grasp this concept. Even a stretch for you that one. Quote

Obviously it’s still not simple enough for you to get. Apparently the terms he’s suggesting regarding mineral rights etc, are worse than the reparations Germany had to pay after WW1. There’s peace and there’s bending an entire nation over and shafting them. Quote

Duck Egg Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 X is a cesspit but worth a glance now and again for the odd funny vid and so long as you take everything with a huge pinch of salt, it feels like no harm done. The amount of fake stuff on there and anti immigrant/downright racist shite I thought, was easy enough to dismiss as rubbish. It's a bit worrying when senior politicians in the US clearly take it seriously and believe some of the crap. Quote

Probably means them losing the US as an ally (Trumpy will have a fit when he wakes up), but I think that’s already happened anyway. I’m sure Ukrainians will rally round their leader, and now Europe needs to do the same. Let the US disappear into the international wilderness until the Dems return in 4 years. It's called the 'tyranny of the majority'. A well functioning democracy protects minority rights and perspectives alongside majority rule. It's not just about counting votes - it's about creating a society where everybodies dignities and rights are protected. For me at least. And that's what I worry DT doesn't understand. Or doesn't care about. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 Fucking hell, this thread is quite something. Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 Well, I do think it was right to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, but I'm now doubting he has any benefit to bring. Still time of course, but so far he seems deranged. Quote
