I'm not altogether sure whose side he's on anymore. Which is a scary thought. Part of me suspect that he looks at China and Russia as a successful model of how to run a state and is modelling his administration on pinching some of these ideas.

they are business deals that would benefit him greatly

because he's primiarily a business man and not a poltician

 

 

America are known for taking parts in conflicts that will benefit them. Nothing new there and we have backed them. Once American Come up with their cunning plan I’m pretty sure we will be there with them.

Yes, Zelenskyy has responded saying Trump is in a disinformation bubble.

You've got to hope Kellogg can try and keep relations OK.

Whilst Russia has praised Trump's comments by saying it was Ukraine seeking NATO entry that caused this war and Trump is the only leader to acknowledge this 'fact'

We did the exact opposite of that a few years ago when we left the EU. Had we not - I think there's a fairly decent chance it would have impacted on VPs decision to invade Ukraine at all. 

He no doubt saw it as another indication that the EU/West was fracturing. And he'd be right.

There's not a chance in hell Putin or any of his mob would've entertained talks with EU folk or us.

They were busy invading a sovereign nation and our lot were busy trying to stop them.

NATO thought isolating Russia economically and providing a shit ton of money and weapons might have done the trick.
