A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. Him referring to Leviticus 20:13 was in response to someone quoting the wording of Leviticus 19 which calls to "love thy neighbour" to include gay people (he did also say that person was not totally wrong in doing so)

His point was that she is hypocritical in her selective Bible quoting because she would obviously not support the interpretations people often make regarding homosexuality when reading Leviticus 20:13

He thought homosexuality was a moral wrong and was an obvious homophobe, but he also was on public record as stating gay people were welcome in the conservative movement despite his views on sexuality, and he really didn't advocate for stoning gay people to death

Appreciate the proper context to the debate 👍 often ignored.

Not sure anyone can feel welcome in a movement where they are seen as morally wrong to be honest. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them pushing for further erosion of gay & women’s rights given the opportunity.

If I leave my anti-Trump rhetoric aside…..I’m actually really sad about what is happening in the US atm.  I love(d) the country.  Got many work friends and colleagues there, and visited dozens of times on business as well as being lucky enough to have several family holidays there. It’s an absolute tragedy how he’s dismantling their independent, democratic institutions which have been 200+ years in the making, and turning them on political opponents (weaponising as Bolty would say).  He’s made the US a laughing stock and pariah on the world stage.  Yes it’s democracy so you get what you paid for, but a leader is supposed to unite not divide, and look after the interests of all not the billionaire elites. It will heal again but the damage has been done for a long time.

Nonsense and projection. Ask yourself why Trump has faced multiple lawsuits from every direction (as he did most of his life when he wasn’t in politics).
