I do know he was a family man, and probably believing in our nuclear family system. That is part of western values.

I've not heard one commentator say that he advocated violence, indeed the did the opposite and continually said dialogue was the way forward.

That most certainly is a traditional western value.

As far as secularism goes, religion is far more important within American politics than it is here, and no doubt other countries within the west will a greater or lesser influence of religion. 

Personally, I think it should be kept well away.

In short, to suggest this chap, with his distasteful ideas, is somehow on a par with terrorists is ludicrous and pathetic. 

They don't want discourse, and would happily remove anyone with a different view.

Just imagine what they would do to you for simply questioning their ideology, then think what this fella would do.
