I must admit I'm struggling to grasp the outpouring of grief for this chap.

He was a religious conservative preacher. 

Folk all over Bolton going to vigils lighting candles for an ultra conservative religious activist.

Everything they decry Islam for.

For me personally his values and opinions are what I hate about hard-line Islam. They are no different.

Shame he's dead like. Nobody deserves that. 

But I'm more arsed about the squashed seagull I saw on the prom this morning.
