Nobody on here supports Hamas. Are you fucking mental?

It was a question. A very valid question I thought. Didn’t expect that sort of reaction.

"Do you support terrorists?" is a bit of a daft question.

Why is it, they come in all shapes and sizes, many were marching in London at the weekend. Here’s one that’s gone viral today. What makes you so certain no one on here supports a terrorist organisation?

Really? I think we may be getting to the heart of the debate. All the information coming out of Gaza is from the Hamas governed state. A terrorist organisation but people still quote them. Do you still think it was a daft question?

Well, it's not exactly the land of milk and honey at any other time either to be fair (imagery intended)

You really need to step outside of this black and white world you live in on most topics as the realities are generally more complex and the areas much more grey.

It's not a TV show.

Like you can preach me on anything.  (Except ticket selling) I’ve forgot more than you know.

A bit daft? 🤣

It's a fckn ridiculous question.

'So you seem to criticise the Israeli state a fair bit. I'm wondering if you support innocent citizens being brutally massacred'

Rightyho.

And on that note, having been surgerically put to the sword by our resident brains trust, I shall retire to the gym.

The word target means to direct attention at something. Politicians will talk about targeting voters.

Sure, target can mean to attack as well. I'm with you that elements of this movement act in an intimidatory way and that some MPs have been threatened. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that an MPs home or place of work is sadly attacked at some point.

My point is that people are using this to stereotype everyone with a Palestine flag as being intimidatory. Attending a march with a sign for a ceasefire is now being widely labelled as hateful and antisemitic. Protesting outside an MPs place of work is being labelled as intimidating. Videos with no context are being used to make a point and everyone is being put in the same box. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an attack and the person in this video was wrongly blamed for incitement.

Meanwhile, there are no reports of aggressive behaviour following on from the video you shared. Happy to be proved wrong.

I've not made that claim so I don't see why it's relevant here

I think the comparison with MPs claiming they're targetting voters is a false equivalence, to be honest

But while there may or may not prove to be violence resulting from his speech (I'm not sure violence should be the only metric), that shouldn't prevent condemnation of his comments

"Speech"? It was a 5 second clip...
