I emailed the ticket office yesterday to ask if I had a problem on my account before i saw the problem reported on social media.

Anyway, the upshot is they had a spare ticket for Longridge so i'm going over on Saturday.

I’d do a few and stand outside selling them except I fucking hate shoving that swab thing across my tonsil area. You just never get used to it no matter how many times you do it.

Reckon negative lateral flows will be required to attend home games?

I can see it happening.

As it stands, the Government have committed that they won’t be required. Still time to quietly change their mind, I suppose.

Just don’t do it properly. No gag and no positive test. Sorted.

How would that work, it's not like they'd accept you just showing them one that they don't know if it yours

But imagine the queues if you have to do it at the turnstile and wait

Temperature check at best I reckon

Edit

Just read on main site you show proof from the NHS, didn't know you could do that, taken LFTs for personal use but didn't know you could register results

Its a fucking farce

Daughter takes em for work

Asked her what it involves

All you do is upload your result to the nhs site

You dont need to prove neg or positive, you just say what the result was, in fact you dont even need to take a test

Yep.

Been same for those attending test events where lateral flows are needed. They're not actually needed. You Just need one and upload that it's negative.

ALLEGEDLY

I'm thinking I've been doing it wrong cos the tests we have, it goes right up your hooter rather than in your gob. Still bloody unpleasant mind..

Really? Just asked the Mrs who works in a medical facility.  She's since heard the same but they were only shown the nose swab as the way to do it. Blimey.

I have to do them when I visit clients and each one has told me to do both. Unless they’re  taking the piss of course and watching me suffer

This is for performing the test on somebody else

Important

If you cannot swab their tonsils, you can swab both nostrils instead. The test result may be less accurate than a nose and a tonsil swab.

When entering a test result, you need to enter the code number on the test strip.

If you've gone to the trouble of getting a kit, you may as well do the bloody thing.

If you make it up, then you have no cause for complaint at whatever measures and restrictions are imposed.
