Which one?

Pulp. Something about Jarvis’ stage presence is unbelievable. They are on point, so many good tunes. Think they only do the new singles

Can’t bring myself to do it. They (she) are doing a small festival outside Plymouth in the summer but doesn’t seem right.

I'm torn

But the other half bought the tickets as she knows how much I like them, though probably didn't realise he had died

If I don't go it'll be ace, if I do it'll be shite

FOMO as the young ones would say

Saw Florence and the machine Friday. Was better than I expected. Full to the rafters with rug munchers. I was like fresh meat

In a similar vein any lads wanting a lass should get to Kesha in a couple of weeks you'll be swatting them away like flies.

Pulp were oustanding

straight into top 10 gigs of all time

Jarvis is one of the best frontmen

couple of songs I'd not heard before - Sunrise and Begging For Change, both belters

only disspointment was they did play Help The Aged

they're doing Wythenshawe Park in the summer, I'd go if I were you

Was lucky enough to see them at glastonbury in 1995 when they replaced the Stone Roses.

It was such a great performance -they had just released Common People but it wasnt that well known, being 17 it felt amazing - like it was our time.

Havent wanted to go and see them since, like it would make me realise im almost 48 now 😁

random memories

i can remember the first time i ever heard common people, listening to the radio 1 top 40 on a sunny day driving down CNR in the summer of 95

never minded the sound of them back then, but was only till later in life i actually listened to the the lyrics and got them, and then started to enjoy them much more

Got a friend who's a mega Pulp fan she goes all over the place watching them (drags her poor fella along too) gets there hours early to ensure she's down the front. Daft cow.

I doubt she goes every Saturday and Tuesday, and 50% of the time comes away feeling angry and miserable....

Seen Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses and Larna Del Ray at the Hyde Park summer thing.

Get VIP if you can otherwise the view isnt great.

Certainly nicer than any gig ive been to at Finsbury Park which are always a little moody. Easy to get away at the end.

Mind you, given its Muford amd Sons I reckon you'll have no bother with a crowd situation 😁

Mate saw them at the O2 in Leeds a week ago. Apparently it was awful. Although vocally IM was ok with the songs, he mumbled incoherently between them and spent most of the time falling out with the bass player and sound engineers. Shame. Best of British for tonight!

On a more positive note we saw The Vaccines on Monday night - absolutely brilliant. Played their faultless first album in full (15th anniversary).

Seen the reviews of Leeds and in two minds I’d prefer refund

Mate going with us this weekend did Vaccines in Brizzle Weds and was gushing.
