On  the revenue from 10,000 season ticket sales I wouldn't expect to have less points than Accrington Stanley

Doubt we will have less come the end of season… and once we sign Bishop.🤣

Couldn’t give two shits about Doyle’s work rate

he’s there to score goals he can do absolutely nothing all game but score a tap in for me

In fucking one…..

He works hard, he’s got too, because IMO he ain’t good enough at this level.

He has scored zero goals without a set piece this season.

Zero.

okay - go through the the mulititude of proper chances we created. Or the endless list of saves, last ditch clearances off the line they made. Or anything other than we played pretty possesion football, with no end product.

When we batter someone, or play them off the park, you start to wonder how we have not scored. Today it is a case of wondering how we have not created decent chances. Thats why they cancelled us out.

I'm not complaining about the performance, just trying to keep it in balance. We did not hammer anyone today, nor did we play anyone off the park. The only player less involved than our keeper was their keeper.

Didn't see the game, so just going off comments.

Not being incisive enough is an element in our game that was there last year at times and this.

Always areas to improve.

How much do you reckon the overheads are at Accrington?

Scale it up to your lot, much bigger again.

You still aren't top neither, which proves a point.

Cambridge all over again

😂😂

You are right.

I don’t mind staying over and losing when the whole town is full of the club.

In Cambridge after the game they didn’t even know they had a football team.

BTW, most of them think that we are sweet on the eye but no end product.

No shit Sherlock.

Pretty much summed up the season . A lore more to be positive about but a level of frustration.
People are right that Doyle needs goals but with injuries is the only real option. He worked his bollox off.

No one was brilliant, no one was awful. Johnstone probably should score with the header but overall team should be doing more with possession in decent positions.

Def deserved a point. Your lads missed some very scorable chances and we played far too deep in the second half letting you come at us. We were all relieved at the final whistle!

text from a Sunderland fan.

Walked back to the motor with a Sunderland fan (let me have a piss in his mother in laws house) he said that they should have lost about 5-1 u do only we had a striker.

Also said Doyle was shi to but Santos was a worldie.

Doyley work rate is great,  can't fault that, but he's not putting them away.

Every ball we go for the cross,  it doesn't work. We either need another up top or someone who can score,  as nobody else but Doyle seems to he willing to shoot.
