November 7, 20214 yr I bet there’s plenty of folk not complaining about having to get a ticket for the replay….
November 7, 20214 yr Last thing we need is a replay. Poor showing that, not surprised John got hooked at half time. Left Baptiste so exposed who has having a poor game himself. Other than Dapo, the rest were poor.
November 7, 20214 yr Oh and well done to bolton selling boxes to stockport fans make it fucking hard for our own to get tickets
November 7, 20214 yr Cup ties really make me cherish my season-ticket seat. Sat near a skriking kid and a man who didn't stop abusing the players all game. Ears are ringing from him. Wound himself up so much he called for Evatt to resign near the end. Fook me.

The ref, less said the better, absolutely awful, the foul on MJ late in the game, a mugging, the player didn't even get a talking to. Doyle is pretty biz, Isgrove looks good but that last 3rd pass ? He simply never executes it, and Baptiste... just not good enough. Bakayoko, not sure why he come on. Lee MotM by a million miles. That's my summing up, I'd imagine IE isn't happy and a replay is a game we don’t need. Apart from Doyle's goal of course! Shows what can happen if it's played in quickly.

Constantly slating players and screaming abuse after ever sideways or backward pass. Yes we weren't great today but some people just leave you shaking your head Edited November 7, 20214 yr by tshape

November 7, 20214 yr embrassing stuff from ticket fiasco, to the 90 minutes and pretty being outnumbered and sung by a non league outfit have heard from a very reliable source that those that went today will be given priority for the replay tickets
November 7, 20214 yr Dog shit result. Stockport following was superb though, every credit. We're just too predictable and whilst we've got one or two stray backpasses in us per game we're always at risk of conceding goals.

Correct - the passing it around the back to tire out the opposition is a tactic that can work but at the minute we're not doing it right at all. Too sloppy, too slow, lack a spark in the final third, other than Dapo and you can't just rely on him all the time. Trust Evatt to turn it around but might need some signings to do it.

November 7, 20214 yr 11, 183 -so more fans than them, just. And not many more home fans anywhere across the country over FA cup weekend, so not bad. Good game I thought. Looking forward to replay.
November 7, 20214 yr Not bothered about the crowd. Fair play to Stockport great following even though it was their big day out plenty wouldn't have mustered that many. Nice to see magic of cup still alive somewhere. Sheff Wed 7,000 on so we shouldn't be too hard on our lot. On pitch abject second half we are so slow in build up played right into their hands. Our equaliser a great goal but we have a long way to go. Not happy with it at all. We are going to struggle unless something changes

November 7, 20214 yr Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. Thought Stockport were the better side for huge chunks of the game which, let’s have it right, is fucking ridiculous. I’m generally a supporter of the ‘knock it about, knacker them out’ approach, but for that to work it’s got to be zipped about a bit and that simply didn’t happen. The 5-10 minute spell fairly late on where we tried knocking it long towards Doyle were pretty soul destroying, mind. Stockport did a decent job against our Plans A-Y by blocking Dapo’s view of goal whenever he cut inside, and to be fair are the first side this season who dealt with him without necessarily trying to kick the shit out of him. Dapo’s free kick late on probably summed up the whole afternoon, particularly alongside Bakayoko heading it nearer to the corner flag than the goal.
November 7, 20214 yr We cannot keep making excuses. This run shows no signs of ending and we are now at the point where we cannot even beat a NL team at home. We have not ounce of creativity in the whole team and each game mirrors the last one. IE has a job on his hands with this lot.
November 7, 20214 yr We are now too predictable need a plan b because this slow build up play is too easy to defend against .
November 7, 20214 yr Well the feedback on here seems widely at odds with Evatt's post match comments!?, Only saw last half hour but wasn't inspiring at all. Would never have known they were non league. Edited November 7, 20214 yr by JimmyRiddle
November 7, 20214 yr This conceding first every week is getting on my tits now . Going to start having a bet on the opposition to score first from now on it’s the only way to stop it

November 7, 20214 yr Saw a text snippet from Evatt saying how we controlled the game, disagreed. Possession is all well and good but doesn't mean you've controlled it. Then I saw the interview he did below and agreed more with the context. Basically saying that we didn't have enough intensity or ask enough questions of them with the ball which is nail on head. How do we fix that though? Seems to be a recurring theme. Is it the players not having enough quality to play at the required intensity, or is it the formation, or is it confidence? Probably a mixture of them but needs sorting asap.
November 7, 20214 yr Went in the east stand, told we could only leave one way, then told we were not allowed to leave heading towards Tesco.. wanted us to walk around the whole stadium to get out... left 5 mins early luckily and just walked through and ignored him Absolute dross game, losing it too easily, too many poor passes. Baka and Delafonso just disappeared. Glad Doyle and Kachunga scored, Felt that we lost any real threat when Kachunga and Thomasson went off..
