Not sure when his contract is up but unless he drops significantly in wages I wouldn’t renew

talented player when fit sadly with previous clubs and now us he spends good spells out

Depends how much he's currently on.

Id have thought that was obvious

But, as you say, clearly not

Fwiw, if evatt and jdb are happy with the deal and he stays, i will be well pleased

He’s a class player, if anything he’s probably to good for league 1, he gets fit and stays fit he could be massive for us next season. I’m in the keep him camp.

Johnston has apparently got a high ankle sprain - same deal as Mahomes who obviously won't be giving it the month's rest it needs :) We should know how Mbete is shaping up in training by who starts on Saturday.

It’ll be Toal on the left, Santos and Jones - there’s no way on earth he chucks the new lad straight in, in fact I’d be surprised if he starts a game for the rest of the season (unless 2 of the current 4 get injuries).

Maybe, but he has to be able to slot in, as there would be no point in the signing otherwise.

Hopefully it won't matter too much if he starts, as we ought to be able to cope at home to a team near the bottom.

Of course I stand by thinking he's not good enough, but it's not very nice to wish someone a longer recovery from an injury than necessary.

Not one of your own anyway.
