Burndens Bogs Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Can’t see him getting a big hair or better deal than signing for us. Quote
Mantra Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I'd do anything frizz name to be announced one more time at the UniBol Quote
kent_white Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I really like him. Just a bit concerned about his injury record and he's probably going to be a big earner. Mixed feelings when we've not got mega money to throw around...... Quote
Members burnden Posted March 31, 2022 Members Posted March 31, 2022 Isgrove out for rest of season , same injury as before https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/20036061.bolton-wanderers-boss-gives-grim-update-team-ahead-wigan-athletic-clash/ Quote

radcliffe white Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 I like isgrove but he will struggle to get in the first team Quote
Max Cherry Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Can't fault his effort but I agree he wouldn't get in this team at moment.Best of luck to him though Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 31, 2022 Site Supporter Posted March 31, 2022 Most improved player last season for me. Was in and out, knocked on the manager's door for a chat and was told by Evatt what he wanted from him. Went away, worked his bollocks off and deserved his place. Proper commitment, no sulking, just upped his game. I remember him following promotion- deservedly revelling in his success. Hope he gets back, but it's some way for him to go. Quote
Moderators Zico Posted April 1, 2022 Moderators Posted April 1, 2022 I rate him but probably just a decent squad player here on in Hopefully be part of a Papa Johns winning team next season Quote

Makes me think the lad is getting a free at the end of the year. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 2, 2022 Site Supporter Posted April 2, 2022 A bit concerned that none of the kids seem to be given an opportunity when injuries happen like this. We've had Sadlier thrust into the role, and Jones now, which I don't think overly suits either. I know it's Wigan and a derby etc, but we've little to play for now, so why not try one? I'd also consider Thomason for the left wing back role too, rather than someone completely out of position on the wrong side. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I've got serious reservations about Declan John (to be said in a cod Chinese accent). Â Quote

Thomasson can pass a ball He moves like a ship No way does he cope with somebody running at him Quote

He'd be more defensive I think than John in that position, but his passing would help compensate. Until he, or someone else is tried, we'll never know. Just can't see the point of wasting someone else being so significantly out of position. Quote
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted April 4, 2022 Site Supporter Posted April 4, 2022 Josh Sheehan back training on the grass, hopefully he'll be good to start pre-season in full training Quote
