He's only ever played L1, L2 and international football

Not sure what suits him if getting clogged in L1 doesn't

Can't dispute that, perhaps in international football, with the better officiating and VAR, opponents know they can get away with a lot less of the systematic clogging in L1.

Our system, and Evatt's fixation on him being the deep lying midfielder hasn't helped. If he was played further forward he'd have the ball in areas where opponents would think twice about chopping him, or if they did it'd be worth it for a free kick in a dangerous area or a pen.

Evatt, in exceptional circumstances, played him higher up in the game v Derby at home and he caused that sort of damage, flitting around behind the forwards and earning a pen

I have always thought Sheehan would be better further forward than getting the ball with his back to play under pressure.

He doesn’t affect games enough and gets allowed miles more time on the ball in international football. I’d probably look like Pirlo playing for wales against Macedonia FFS.

Agreed should have swapped with Morley who ran Wycombe first half of the season playing in front of a back four

More injuries from last week's game plus one possibly on maternity duty.

Santos "is feeling his groin" apparently. Somewhere better to be I suspect. Some captain he was.
