He's only ever played L1, L2 and international football

Not sure what suits him if getting clogged in L1 doesn't

Can't dispute that, perhaps in international football, with the better officiating and VAR, opponents know they can get away with a lot less of the systematic clogging in L1.

Our system, and Evatt's fixation on him being the deep lying midfielder hasn't helped. If he was played further forward he'd have the ball in areas where opponents would think twice about chopping him, or if they did it'd be worth it for a free kick in a dangerous area or a pen.

Evatt, in exceptional circumstances, played him higher up in the game v Derby at home and he caused that sort of damage, flitting around behind the forwards and earning a pen

  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

I have always thought Sheehan would be better further forward than getting the ball with his back to play under pressure.

He's not. Just like Gethin Jones.

You don't say.

He doesn’t affect games enough and gets allowed miles more time on the ball in international football. I’d probably look like Pirlo playing for wales against Macedonia FFS.

Agreed should have swapped with Morley who ran Wycombe first half of the season playing in front of a back four

Have Gethin Jones knee's gone or carrying an injury? Just looks so much off the pace and half the player he was.

Very odd.

More injuries from last week's game plus one possibly on maternity duty.

Santos "is feeling his groin" apparently. Somewhere better to be I suspect. Some captain he was.

Just seen on twatter that the new striker is injured? Dalby. Anyone know if there's any truth in it?

Don't think he played on Saturday against Tranmere, which suggest he was injured before the Weekend, either way not good news.

Well that's just depressing.

Hope it's just that racist nonce stiring stuff.

Doesnt mean hes not injured

If he is, better now than in a few weeks

Forrester

Go and grab dempseys hand and fuck off to some convalescence home

Craig is still a prick though. Pretending Mcatee and Carlos don't exist.

Absolutely sick and tired of it. Two hamstring injuries and not a ball kicked in earnest. If it is going to be like this again all season we massively have our work cut out. Avoiding injuries counts for a lot and for whatever reason we just do not seem able to have any kind of run of luck with them.

Missing a pre season will set them back a few months we new forester is a sick note but we need to stop signing them . both wingers have had injury issues one with a ACL on is record

If Dalby is the white Drogba he'll still be that in September.

If he isn't, good that we've focused minds to bring in another striker.

We still need at least two other strikers, we needed one before Collins left.

Can’t imagine Schuey was planning to go into the season with only Dalby

Big Dave up top it is

Tell you what though fuck all gets out from the club nowadays does it?

Losing Dalby now is terrible timing. He'll have no pre-season and even if fit by mid August it means he won't be up to speed till mid Sept (8 to 10 games into the season).

Another striker needed asap as we can't have McAtee up top again

Hopefully not kenny
