Proper shithouse effort from Charlton that. Taking turns in kicking ths piss out of Dion when he forced them into mistakes repeatedly, subbing off one of the dirty fuckers for another one to do the exact same. Then the long throw after long throw which was like playing Cheltenham from last season. Give them credit though they made it a very tough match with the gameplan they had & nearly got rewarded for it. Another good three points, another game on our unbeaten run chalked off. Midfield looked a bit non existant today & we didn't have much zip about us but great to see us being able to be dogged enough to get the win a bit like last season. Dion was fucking superb, MJ had a great first half but tired, Morley's set pieces were absolute peaches all game begging for somebody to get a touch, great glancing header from Aimson who I'm not going to lie was worrying the shit out of me seeing him attempting to dribble out of defence time after time. Thought Bod looked class when he came on just a shame he didn't stick that curler in the top bin!

2nd best for the most part tonight, but we scored 2 and conceded 1.

Take that outcome all season long.

Great response to the equaliser and honestly, nice to see some shithousery and time wasting.  

We've been on the wrong end of that for long enough.

Typo

Like Dids and others wrote we're winning with a congressional medal of ugly, after almost a decade of rolling over and having our bellies tickled. Fucking aim for second, it's on. COYFWM.

Think both teams cancelled each other out a bit playing the same system meaning there wasn't much room in midfield and forced both teams to go long. 

Saturday/Tuesday taking it's toll a bit. Dempsey a bit disappointing but he's new and will improve. Thought Sadlier played really well when he came on, as did the other subs. Made a big difference.

You know the tides turning when we play really poor and still get the 3 points. 

Charles and Trafford both outstanding 

Daddy was lively when he came on, most of the ESL thought it was him who scored for a short while 

We are finding a way to win even when we are not at our best. That is a great sign👍

Charlton fans said they had ground out some ugly wins prior to today and good that we’re learning to do the same. Our new squad depth makes that more achievable.

One really nice turn from a pass with a hairy arse defender up his jacksie to set us away but it came to nowt , they then went and scored.

Dion Charles looks like absolute theft from us. Not taken to a new striker like this since SJM..... forget all the superstars in-between.

Great to be a Wanderer again and both my lads are finally starting to click what its all about after years of delusion!

Surprised how many people think we played poorly. I thought we were excellent first half and more than passable up until about 60 minutes when we seemed to lose our bottle a bit and Charlton could sniff blood. Charles really is getting better every week, though I bet Dapo felt a bit weird watching someone else getting the shit kicked out of him for a change. Tremendous character to come up with the winner with our backs against the wall though, particularly from a set piece at long last, and Trafford’s shithousing was a joy to behold. Could probably do with Daddy (who I thought made an impact tbf) getting on the end of balls in to the box though rather than hoping Santos can nod it down for Aimson!

Charlton should have been down to 10.

Charles pace and workrate is immense, Dempsey looks a tidy footballer & rarely seems to give it away, but i think theres much more to come from him. Morley is a cracking little player.

Dapo looked off the pace tonight and it just wasn’t happening for Fossey and i didn’t think MJ performed that well, a bit lightweight & doesn’t win enough in the air for his height.

We were not great, but ref does his job at 1-0 and they are down to ten and I think everything is a lot more comfortable. 
 

They seemed to have their homework, neither wing back did much, midfield had a lot of fighting for the ball. Result is all that matters and let's remember Fossey young kid starting out, Jones back from injury, Aimson covering for Johnston, Dempsey and Morley new to club, Charles not been playing all year, Dapo first full season. 
 

We have 16 points from last 18. We are doing really fucking well.

Yeah it was a very good cross and he got up very well for it. 

He looked a handful when he came on. 

Plan B is absolutely destroy them with Dapo and Charles terrorising them for 60 mins then sending on 2 six foot bastards on for the last 30.... 

As a defender you'd be mentally fucked at that.
