Lost one of my key less car Fobs been quoted £450 to replace, any one in the game on here who can get one at sensible price?

My mate got one on the cheap off Ebay - said it was like sommat out of a Christmas cracker - useless.

Just bite the bullet and pay a couple of ton for a couple of real ones.

I think a garage near Clarendon Street would sort you out.

Has anybody else ever absentmindedly tried to beep themselves into the front door with a car key fob when they've got home?

No but I do wish it was a thing to have it in your pockets to get in your gaff, when your hands are full or pissed as a fart

Olympic locks on Chorley Old Rd, just lower down than Morrys on the opposite side.

The key may well be a main dealer only part, but Olympic buy them at trade rates & their labour costs are much lower

Give them a ring, the lad to speak to is Rob - he’s very good.07501 013408

If you're stuck I can recommend someone near me in Lincoln. I had a 57 plate mini with a similar problem, the main dealer quoted me similar silly money which made the key 20% value of the car! Went to this bloke, he said "Forty quid, leave the key and come back in half an hour" and he was as good as his word!

Thx for the advise. Problem seems to be that the fob has to be bought via Jeep.

Have you lost the fob or stopped working? Assume lost? You could also buy a fob from a scrapper/breaker and get it recoded I would imagine but not 100% sure of this as maybe once coded to a car that’s them done.

I would try the one that bogs has said as he’s in the trade so that’s as good a recommendation as you’re going to get.

Send me his details I’ll ring him if other options don’t come up trumps. Thx

Try e-bay, but go to the US site .... also before you do see how easy or not it is to reprogram the key, my corvette is easy you do it yourself, my Ford explorer you have to go to the dealership to get it done
