I think the club will be due sanctions due to the late payment again. There may be sanctions against the owners for not depositing the 125% as agreed. Not sure they can punish the club for that. This is Nixon’s take. The EFL demanded that the owners put money in an account to pay wages after previous late payments. Honestly, even with the £3m in would you trust them enough? That only covers the next few months and I think I’d be looking for a bit more assurance than that. They have put a few million into it They probably thought support would go up with promotion. When we all know its ceiling is pretty low .
