I'm waiting on EMR to publish their amended timetable for strike days but seen as they've still not done one for the July dates it may be a while until the August ones.

my one hope is that london ipswich, london norwich are routes they will try to run

free pint for us lot making the trip to Ipswich at the next home game in the fanzone.  Superb gesture by the club, we just carry on ticking boxes

Think when the last strike was on they ran 3 to Norwich in the day

Ah I was on about the strike on the date of the Sheff game, the Ipswich one is a lost cause when it comes to trains.

I can quite easily imagine everyone making drastic alternative plans for Ipswich or cancelling altogether, only for the strike to be called off last minute. Would be just our luck.

re ipswich - our london trains are unaffected, in theory!

even looked at road from london but 2 hours can fuck right off

once theres no trains, i lose a fair bit of interest so im not that arsed about going now

if theres trains, im back to being a kid on christmas eve

Need the reduced timetable off anglia

just noticed revised timetable will be published few days before

I'd rather drive and stay over.  Park up and we are on the lash, sounds much better than dicking about on trains anyhow.  I'm shit at drinking so I won't be able to have a beer till we're at our digs, which suits me.

Hi there. Our ASLEF ballot closes on 27 July, we'll be able to update customers once this has happened - Mike

Same, but I need to get home, I'm at a christening the next day.

Not anymore

I found a frozen ball earlier. Booted it into next door if you want it :)

On that note, I am OUT

This happens quite a lot. Is it always you?

2nd allocation taken

Not allowed a refund through Split My Fare for this, can only claim the money back to use on the same Grantham-Ipswich journey but at another time as I didn't book flexible tickets and apparently something extraordinary like a strike makes no odds. Grim grim grim.

Thankfully it calls at Ely, can at least salvage the vast majority of the journey to use for Cambridge away, think Cambridge is only a short hop from Ely on the train.

1,300+ sold already despite 9 hour round trip and rail strikes.

Massive massive football club.
