Normally it's wins against bottom half sides that keeps the deluded on side inbetween our like clockwork losses against the top teams.

Wigan have lost 3 on the spin and we can't lay a glove on them.

Doubt it…think he’s lost 100% of the fan base and most of the players.

I agree, the only thing that he won't lose, is his job, sadly.

His position is untenable, the club have to act.

Be difficult to sell season tickets at the end of Jan early bird if he still here so that might tip the boards decision

I think the players need to take a massive core of the responsibility today. I base that on mindset and application.

The rest though, is on the manager.

My 10 year old lad could draw up a set of tactics and instructions on how to beat us.

High press. Cut off Santos, more importantly cut off any of his outlets. That equals long ball and then all you need to do is win the first or 2nd ball.

I can see it, we can see it, every other manager can see it.

I until now thought Evatt would evolve and sort it out.

It's clear today he can't or won't.

We need a fresh pair of eyes and methods.

I hear toxic said a lot. But all I see is stale.

We are stale to the core.

Just heard him slagging fans off on radio manc saying we are disrespectful of him and he is our best ever manager .....he is an arrogant fucking tosser.

Just heard his post-match quotes. You'd think this guy had won six league titles on the bounce the way he talks about a third place finish in League Two and a Pizza Cup.

No more proof that he has to go.

A proper man would be discussing terms to leave right now.

But he's broke & we've bailed him out at least once.

I admire Sharron for what she's done for this club bit part of being the boss is knowing when to pull the trigger.

Please don't say he said this.

We've just been pumped at home by our biggest rivals for the 3rd season running.

He didn't say he was our best ever manager but he did mention he had the best win rate. And said it was disrepectful to ask him to resign

It's a bad one pal

My brother rang some station or other apparently.

His quotes in the BN are so defensive, and blaming others as usual.

Of course the players can always do better, but he has to ask himself why it keeps happening.

Ultimately, if he can't motivate and tactically manage them, then it is his fault.

Even if they have lost faith in him, he has to see it, acknowledge it (not publicly) and ship them out.

He brought them here though, makes increasingly bizarre selections, but has the same issues repeating themselves.

Then criticising his players, but having a pop at fans for also being critical is like a drowning man, lashing out for anything to grab hold of.

Stale is definitely the best word to describe it. We look completely out of ideas. We can't even get the basics right, and there's no intent with any of our play any more. Just knocking it about in our half, then hoofing it and hoping. So poor. It saddens me, because the last 4 years have brought some fantastic times, but Sharon and the owners need to bite the bullet now.

Surely he didn’t really say he was our best ever manager?

Haven't heard this particular interview but I'm guessing he said he has the best win percentage or something like that.

Surely he couldn't think he's been our best manager.
