Silly soundbite.

An admission that things haven't been great, and fair enough, but where is the evidence to suggest things will suddenly get significantly better?

No idea mate. I don’t think they will

'When we kick into gear we will kill this league.' Is pretty much what we were saying this time last year.

We were doing much better this time last year

We were but we had less injuries first half of the season last year and lots more after Christmas. Hopefully it’ll be reverse situation this season… the nagging doubt is that teams who lose in play off finals rarely go up the season after.

If we lose to Hudds in Pizza Cup we'll have nothing other than league football from mid December to May. The scope for excuses about fatigue at the back end of season will be much less.

Would the board back him in the transfer window in January because going off his last 3 him and Markham have been at best poor.

I think its too soon to judge our signings and even then, it depends how much influence ludonautics have

If theyre picking the players, itd be harsh to bin somebody else

I’d think they’d they’d have a role delivering data to Evatt & Markham but the final decision on recruitment has to be Evatts.

You would hope so, but i wouldnt underestimate their influence

If they are linked to the swiss, especially

Not the injuries excuse again... I thought we'd heard the last of that.

It would hold some weight if our results were different against big teams/in big games but we lost exactly the same games  first and second halves of the season as you would have expected us to lose.

The issue was our second half of the season was harder

Same this year

Agreed.  If we'd beaten Carlisle and drawn with Bristol Rovers, both at home and pre-Christmas, we'd have gone into the last game of the season knowing a win takes us up.

We didn't lose at home in the 2nd half of the season, and scored plenty, it was generally just our inability to perform in the bigger games that cost us.  Which 11 players were available to start on the day wasn't the main factor IMO, looking at the evidence of the last 2 or 3 years.

If we beat derby away we go up

And we should've

It was rumoured Ludonautics were involved in the Schon deal, but I don't think they'll really play a big part in our recruitment until/if we get promoted to the league above

... * tbf he's far from a failure so far. Just a shame he's being asked to do two jobs, only one of which he has experience in.

Yes, that was our best performance away at a "top" ground in recent times, ridiculous that we didn't get at least a draw.

Ian will find a way, fear not. It can't possibly be his fault, the consequences are too horrible.

I recall it being said in the Summer that we were taking more interest in the European market, to dig out good players at doable prices. Presumably that was where Ludonautics came in.

We’re going backwards instead of forwards and this started way back in Jan so we have had almost a year of regression blowing automatic this year blowing a play off final and now we’re at a point now we’re we have conceded 10 less goals already than the whole of last season .
The chances of automatic are already slipping away and in current form by the end of Jan we can forget it . A evatt team at best in another play off nobody would be confident with this set up

. He needs to go and at least give  new manger half a season 2 transfer windows for a push next season

We will be taking more interest in the European markets but there aren't very many deals to be done in the third tier

Get promoted and it's different matter
