We had a decent thread a while back discussing Evatt’s philosophies and approach to the game (think it got tainted and pulled)

So not a bad time to start it up again at the beginning of the season.

In the main he’s done a fantastic job. A minority lost patience round about Xmas/New Year in both seasons. 

But surely now he has the large backing of the majority of fans and the brand he talked about implementing here is now well and truly established.

Good article above highlighting how he’s using Sport Science to get the squad performing to it’s optimum level.

A young, meticulous, intelligent and passionate individual, who we are very lucky to have leading our club.

I hope he gets what he deserves with promotion to the Championship.

Early bird offer for next season should be due out in the next couple of weeks. Uptake would’ve been low in comparison to previous years

Classy announcement, although they did have to shoehorn the 50% win ratio into it! Hope IE takes his receipts with him!

Did well, but looked out of his depth and out of ideas this season. No idea who comes in next, was wondering about that Mat Sadler guy at Walsall but he's only in his first season so would be a huge risk for us. Can see a 'til the end of the season' appointment myself. Lets see!

Mutual consent, I wonder if it was IE decision but it looks better for him this way, either way it’s the right outcome. Gutted for him he put his heart and soul into the job and it felt like he wanted to take us all the way to the prem. it will do him the power of good to take a break from the game before getting back on the horse and when he does he won’t be short of offers. Thanks for stabilising the club and moving us forward .

I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't. The ideal would have been to move on at the start of the window and give the new manager time to see what he needs. This looks more like he was backed until it became untenable.

Assistant managers and goalie coach gone as well.

Oh well, whoever they get in, it will be a much needed breath of fresh air to blow away the dark clouds.

There's a correlation between it all turning sour and Crainey's appointment imho.
